Point being none of those deals look anything like the projections. Talking about Grisham in the same breathe as Tucker & Belli in terms of the OF market is just silly. Those weren’t his comps.

The three biggest outlets with contract projections (and let me know if i missed any) had Grisham getting at least double what the QO guaranteed. Not saying you have to believe in Trent Grisham but multiple respected people around baseball thought this was his market.

@bocallaghan25 @SimonettiSource To say we know the rotation will be better is a stretch when they’re relying on a rookie & 2 guys off injury. I believe if rookies are ready they will force their way onto the team (Rice/Schlittler). Giving them the spot causes too much pressure.

This may be a controversial take. Even if the #Yankees get Bellinger on the reported 5 year 150 plus deal, it doesn't feel like a Win to me. I will explain why I feel this way in full detail on Designated Spittaz tonight at 8PM.
