Stoner Hill, Denver. 10 years ago: The legendary smoking spot where the whole city came to blaze on 4/20. Today, 4:20 on 4/20… not a single soul celebrating. Cool Denver is dead. The legend is gone.

Colfax & Reed. Neighbors report that local churches are feeding, housing, and clothing the vagrants at this camp. This means they are actively attracting more vagrants, open drug use, and chaos to this area. True compassion doesn’t mean enabling addiction, lawlessness, and street camps that destroy neighborhoods. We need accountability and treatment, not endless handouts. #DoBetterLakewood

@ThoughtCrimes80 I'm no longer sympathetic to stores that let people walk out with baskets filled with stolen goods. They have the resources to fight back, but they are too scared of getting negative publicity and lawsuits.

Now how do you steal $7,100 of the same merchandise and think you’re going to get away with it?! 😭

I think I am done with the downtown Denver entertainment options, thanks. I went to the Rockies home opener. Had to dodge 3 methed out guys on the sidewalk. There were 3 DPD crime scene vans on the 16th street mall. A guy was screaming about something on the shuttle. On the way back to the car, I had to dodge more methed out guys and it smelled like pot and piss. So, yeah. Let's open an entertainment district.

OMG Denver engaged the Urban Land Institute (made up of "experts" not from Denver) to consult on the "malaise" downtown... they recommend turning the Pavilions into a "central social district"🙄 Why don't they ask actual Denver residents why they don't go downtown🤦🏻‍♀️

@SeanPaige I completely agree. The vehicle registration fees here are ridiculous when you realize how terrible the freeways and roads are. It would make sense if Colorado had world-class freeways and roads. Instead they are terrible. I don't even see many people using bikes on the road...

Yes, #copolitics, there really IS a war on cars and car commuters. And Colofornia is ground zero in the push to make motorists miserable, as this latest attack on drivers shows: denver7.com/news/on-two-wh… HB26-1237, which @GovofCO is sure to sign, means drivers can’t stop or park in a bike lane, even momentarily, or they will be ticketed and fined. And every car-bike collision is now officially a “crash,” not an “accident.” The bicycle lobby spins it as a safety measure. But discerning drivers see it for what it is: the latest battle in Colorado’s nonstop War on Cars. The “crash” wording change isn’t innocent semantics. The Dem-controlled legislature, which is owned by the trial lawyers, rewrote dozens of statutes so police reports, insurance claims, and lawsuits now treat these as preventable events. It's a camel’s nose under the tent. Trial lawyers just got fresh ammunition to shake down insured motorists while cyclists and e-bike riders operate with zero mandatory liability insurance. Meanwhile, Denver has carved out 480 miles of bike lanes and trails from our roads. Protected lanes have quadrupled. Statewide, CDOT wants an 81% increase in bike infrastructure. Car commuters, who still move the vast majority of people and goods, get squeezed into worse traffic, higher insurance premiums, and longer commutes, all to make room for bicyclists who refuse to pay their way. Cyclists and e-bikes get taxpayer-funded rebates, dedicated road space, and a complete free pass: no registration, no annual fees, no insurance required. E-bikes hit 28 mph with real crash risk, draw power from our coal-heavy grid, and are increasingly involved in collisions with pedestrians, other riders, and scooters on shared paths. Yet they face none of the responsibilities drivers carry every single day. This isn’t “sharing the road.” It’s one-way social engineering. Drivers pay the gas taxes, registration fees, and insurance that actually fund these roads -- only to watch capacity taken away and blame shifted onto us for every incident. If bikes and e-bikes want protected space on public roads and trails, they should carry liability insurance like everyone else and pay a registration fee, like everyone else. Real equity means sharing the responsibility, not just the road. Car commuters aren’t the villains. We’re the ones keeping Colorado moving for families, workers, and businesses. Car commuters better get organized, or they are going to be roadkill in Democrat-occupied Colorado. #coleg #WarOnCars #Colorado

Lakewood resoundingly rejected zoning changes to promote more density...so what do Dems in the CO legislature do? They start introducing bills to force density like cutting minimum lot sizes by up to 2/3 Their constituents just voted against density & CO Dems just override them

Last night’s event with @StandWithUs was powerful even with people protesting against me outside all night trying to shut it down. Of course it didn’t scare me. They didn’t stop us. The room was full, the conversation was strong, and the truth was louder than their hate. 🇮🇱💙 עם ישראל חי!
