Stablecoins have had a strange reputation. For a long time they were seen as the boring part of crypto, the part without excitement or upside. But that framing was always wrong. Stability is the feature, not a limitation. The most meaningful financial infrastructure is never the flashiest. It’s the stuff that just works consistently, that people can rely on, that solves a real problem without asking them to take on unnecessary risk. That’s what stablecoins are becoming for a lot of people in markets where the alternative is a currency that keeps losing value. The boring things, done well, tend to matter the most in the long run.

Dear Arsenal, I never thought I’d be the one to say this, but I have to put myself first. I’ve spent years, decades, actually—defending your honor in the streets and on the timelines. I’m craving a relationship with actual stability, Arsenal. I need to know that when I sit down on a Saturday, I’m not just signing up for 90 minutes of agonizing foreplay that ends in a cold shower. I am exhausted from being the "loyal partner" while you spend all season flirting with trophies, teasing me with world-class build-up play, and getting me right to the edge of glory, only to pull away at the last second. I’m tired of the heavy breathing and the "almosts." I need you to actually finish the job for once. I need the silverware, the release, the total euphoria of a trophy in my hands... because this "edging" through the title race every year is starting to hurt. I’m packing up my jerseys. I’m deleting the notifications. I’m going to go find a hobby that doesn’t involve checking the injury status of a 22-year-old’s hamstring every five minutes. It’s been real, Gunners. thinking about it, we’ve done a lot of “unreal” stuffs to make money in this space an average person looking at you draw fan arts to secure WL, or push 20k messages on discord, or spam tickers on the TL, or push 1k+ txns onchain, or deposit money into vaults or many more ridiculous stuffs would prolly think you’re crazy but then again, magic internet money - only in web3 crazy tech

Airdrops this year became worst I mean, no one has the energy to keep contributing and at the end of the day, become ineligible, or given peanuts A lot of people are tired, with little to no opportunity left for them and empty portfolio… I see people talking about pivoting to trading and prediction market, of what difference will my $5 do in this 3 trillion dollar market ? Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen a little hype from NFTS but man, only a few cooked, and the problem is the wl and GTD spots are limited to only a few number of persons This brings us to the next big question, HOW DO YOU PLAN TO MAKE MONEY ?

Literally had this conversation with a friend last week. In the quest for adoption which now means government and institutions coming in, are we trading off key components of crypto in return for acceptance? Will this push for acceptance, bring the fall of crypto?

CT is no longer a thing. It lost its identity the moment crypto became institutional. Before, CT was made of people with a shared story of being early and misunderstood. We’re no longer either of the two. And because the story we believed in no longer exists, the only thing that kept CT together was a shared desire to make money. And that never happened for two reasons: Retail, who were supposed to raise the tide that lifts all boats, never came. This led to liquidity being scattered across a small pool of people, resulting in a PVP dynamic. Most lost money this cycle and were better off holding cash. So yeah, CT as we know it is dead. It no longer has a story worth uniting around, and the selfish motive of making money which kept it alive no longer works.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ The only solution is finding a new story worth uniting around. Until then, it’s down only.

Building in web3 as a solo founder will test you one thing building Ataktos made very clear to me: this space is extremely brutal to builders. especially if you’re building alone. people don’t really care what you’re building. it could be: - the next Polymarket - the next Pudgy penguins - something genuinely new if they can’t extract value from it immediately, they move on. or worse, they turn against it. that’s the part most people don’t talk about. the same people who don’t benefit from what you’re doing are often the first to: - criticize it - downplay it - turn it into content for clicks not because it’s bad. but because they’re not part of the upside. and as a solo builder, you feel that. every comment. every take. every opinion. because you’re the one in the arena. especially when you’re building solo. there’s no team to absorb pressure. no buffer. no filter. it’s just you. and as humans, we process words differently. some people can brush it off. some people internalize it. that’s where things get dangerous. because if you’re not careful, you start building based on: - reactions - opinions - noise instead of your original vision. that’s how projects lose direction. one thing i had to learn quickly: you can’t build for everyone. you build for: - the people who understand - the people who are paying attention - the people who see what you’re trying to do everyone else is just noise. and if you let noise guide your decisions, you won’t last long in this space. respect to anyone building. it’s a very different game when you’re the one inside it.
