It has been over 30 days since TSA workers have seen a paycheck because Donald Trump wants to play partisan games.   Democrats have introduced SEVEN bills to fund TSA, but Donald Trump is throwing a tantrum, demanding that Republicans fight with Democrats until his voter suppression bill — the so-called SAVE America Act — is passed.   At a time when groceries, gas, and housing continue to rise, families cannot afford to miss another paycheck.  Now is the time for Republicans to finally find their backbone, stop appeasing Donald Trump, and vote to fund TSA. Republicans in Congress have a duty to represent the people who sent them here — not Donald Trump.   ICE is completely out of control. These rogue agents have done nothing but cause chaos and terrorize our communities.   Now, Trump wants to hand them even more responsibility. We are talking about people who have already shown they are unqualified and untrained to do their own jobs — and now they want them handling airport security? This is going to create even more chaos and make the American people less safe. This mess belongs to Trump and Republicans, and they have the power to end it today.

The only reason TSA agents are going without pay right now is because Republicans are holding their paychecks hostage so they can shovel more money at ICE and CBP. That's absurd. Republicans need to stop blocking our bill to pay TSA & start getting serious about basic ICE reforms.

@maddenifico ICE is funded until 2029. They were already given the money. Dems are trying to fund ONLY TSA in a peacemeal bill. They're leaving out the coast guard, FEMA, and other vital departments within DHS.

The partial government shutdown is about Dems seeking to prohibit ICE Nazis from hiding their identities by wearing masks and requiring them to wear body cams. Since they murder Americans, this is the minimum they should be required to do — but Republican fascists are refusing.

Instead of sending untrained ICE officers to airports, Republicans could support my bill to pay TSA agents — but EVERY Senate Republican present voted against doing so over the weekend.

@imabeesknee @CasuallyTCG @micyoung75 When you get married or divorced you should update all of your ID' drivers or state issued ID, SS card, etc. If your last name doesn't match your birth certificate, you also bring your marriage certificate. Brith certif. proves citizenship, marriage certificate proves name change

The proven is that the id that they require is only available in 5 states and the other states would require you bring a birth certificate that matches your id exactly with you to vote which will not match if you're married and changed names

Kansas tried this exact provision. Federal courts ruled it unconstitutional. Tens of thousands of legitimate voters were purged before it was struck down. Senator Lee wants to keep debating until a bill passes that’s already failed constitutional review. That’s not persistence. That’s ignoring the verdict.

@CasuallyTCG @micyoung75 Marriage certificates have a seal on them. They dont need to be notorized. Poor people can't get SNAP TNAF or Medicaid without photo ID, birth or marriage certificates

@imabeesknee @CasuallyTCG @micyoung75 I didn't realize 3 documents to vote was sooo difficult. I never had a problem bringing them to DMV. It was easy. I don't mind bringing to protect our elections. Yes, we should have voter ID to protect our elections. 83% of Americans want it. It will protect votes in all parties.
