Reminder that Mitch McConnell, who is literally AWOL from the Senate, is currently in violation of actual Senate Rules.

Under paragraph 2 of Rule VI of the Standing Rules of the Senate, “No Senator shall absent himself from the service of the Senate without leave.” Rather than communicating through secret phone calls or anonymous sources, McConnell has an obligation to disclose to the Senate the reason(s) for his extended absence and to request permission of the Senate to grant him the privilege of continued absence. Without that disclosure and request, and without explicit Senate approval for his extended absence (which I am sure the Senate would grant), McConnell has an obligation to resign. But he is required to make the request under the Standing Rules of the Senate. These are the rules, and it’s long past time for senators to actually follow them.

Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey sits at 95% reviews, edging past The Return of the King, which holds 94%. On the audience side, The Odyssey also leads so far with a 97% Popcornmeter score from verified ratings, compared to The Return of the King’s 86% audience score.

Rotten Tomatoes just permanently torched its credibility.
The Odyssey: 97% audience score. “Beating LOTR: Return of the King.”
Meanwhile both other major review platforms for Odyssey are:
Metacritic users: 5.3.
Letterboxd: 4.3.
You don’t get a 50-point gap between platforms unless someone’s curating the numbers.
The score isn’t a rating anymore, it’s become an ad slot for the highest bidder.

There's just no way the actual audience rating is 97% on Rotten Tomatoes. Metacritic has the movie at a 5.3/10 user score, Letterboxd has it at 4.3 and IMDB has it at 8.3/10. Rotten Tomatoes is removing negative reviews at the behest of the studio.

Katie was killed on January 19, 2025. So yes, I care deeply, and no, I'm not over anything.
The 2020 election was conducted under extraordinary circumstances unlike any modern presidential election before or since. That alone makes legitimate questions, rigorous scrutiny, transparency, access to the underlying data, and independent audits appropriate.
Just because partisans declare something "settled" doesn't mean it should be beyond examination.
That's accountability, not denialism.
It's true that, in my heart, I believe that if President Trump, or anyone other than @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris, had remained in office, Katie would still be alive.
I also believe the Biden-Harris administration's border policies created risks that no rational president should have or would have accepted.
As Katie's father, I need every government policy, every decision, and every contributing factor that led to her death to be examined with complete transparency and independently verified.
I don't want slogans, talking points, or political assurances. I want facts that have been pressure-tested.
Families like mine deserve the truth because understanding every link in the chain that took our loved ones from us is part of the grieving and healing journey.
What I don't understand, @GeraldoRivera, is why you're so cavalier and one-sided about the preventable tragedies, pain, and anguish of families like mine.
Is there any consideration for Katie from you?
