Trump betrayed a decent, honorable man who had a 99.2 percent record of supporting him in the U.S. Senate. He destroyed the career of U.S. Senator Cornyn to elevate a dishonest, impeached and corrupt crook named Ken Paxton. (Google him. This guy is terrible.) When the President of the United States happily backs a bad man and throws a good man overboard, it sends a horrible message to the next generation. This president continues to do moral and ethical damage to the nation that will be hard to undo. Not surprised. But still disappointed in where GOP voters are.

If this is all true and all the other reports coming out are true, this is a massive massive massive victory for President Trump. Basically nobody — I repeat, nobody (from senators to world leaders and more with very rare exception) — thought President Trump could accomplish all of this. The few who did include the Prime Minister of Greece, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government in Iraq, the Prime Minister of Qatar, and a handful of others. Most thought Trump would just agree to a watered down version of the JCPOA (Obama Iran deal). By all indications, this emerging agreement is far better than that and actually accomplishes what Barack Obama could not: Trump seems to have stopped Iran from getting a nuclear weapon.

BREAKING: US believes Iran's supreme leader has approved the broad template for draft deal with Iran. Iran has agreed in principle that in exchange for the US lifting blockade, Iran will agree in principle to dispose of highly enriched uranium. This draft has to make its way through the leadership system. But US wants them to commit to dispose of HMU and commit to resolve other nuclear issues. @VP, Witkoff, Kushner involved in negotiations. US trying to involve every middle eastern ally. @CBSNews

@suetsam @RyanStilton @mboyle1 That treaty would have already expired last year. It sunsetted after ten years. Plus, we didn’t have anytime anywhere inspection access.

@RyanStilton @mboyle1 I looked to check my facts on Obama’s Iran deal. The treaty was working with the approval of world leaders except BiBi. Trump fell into his thrall, and now we are up s—t creek.

🚨 NOW: Rep. Thomas Massie fumes that Republicans "used artificial intelligence" to make it seem like he was cozying up to AOC and Ilhan Omar "They used AI to create a life-like video showing me checking into a hotel room with AOC and Ilhan Omar and holding hands with them!" "It was very effective on the boomers...the boomers are gonna, you know, leave this country to Gen X, Gen Z, Millennials. I won them. They don't get fooled by AI." "They won this race by fooling voters."

@Ausbones @luwaga008 I mean, what do I know. I’m just a dumb old nurse. But yes, worldwide, in areas where medication is scarce, then PJP is a no brainer.

@Ausbones @luwaga008 Of course. But no one should be experiencing any AIDS related complications in this day and age, if they are compliant with their HIV meds and not out there drugging.

“The price is my re-election.” — @RepThomasMassie “It’s so sick and twisted. The reason they [Republicans] are doing it [agree privately] is because they’re terrified of President Trump’s political machine.” Society has been trapped in a “fear everything” mindset. People stay silent publicly while agreeing privately because they’re afraid to speak out. Fear keeps people silent. My thoughts go out to Tulsi Gabbard and her family, as her husband battles this serious health problem. I hope and pray that he makes a speedy and full recovery. While the circumstances around her departure are deserving of our sympathy, let’s be clear: Tulsi Gabbard’s only positive contribution to our nation's national security is her resignation. She politicized intelligence. She dismantled critical agencies keeping Americans safe. She weaponized the IC to pursue baseless election fraud claims. And more. We must ensure that her tenure — marked by a devotion to the person of the president and not to the security of the country — represents a terrible exception at DNI and not the new normal.

I am deeply grateful for the trust President Trump placed in me and for the opportunity to lead @ODNIgov for the last year and a half. Unfortunately, I must submit my resignation, effective June 30, 2026. My husband, Abraham, has recently been diagnosed with an extremely rare form of bone cancer. He faces major challenges in the coming weeks and months. At this time, I must step away from public service to be by his side and fully support him through this battle.
