@mwhiteburgh Coach Blundo hit the nail on the head. The way he plays brings back the true post player that has been missing in HS for many years. His footwork & soft touch is next level stuff - receiving an entry pass as he moves to a drop step is a joy to watch.

Everyone always has an opinion but no one besides those in the actual locker room know what really happens within teams… with players, assistant coaches, and admin… until you’ve sat in the HC chair, you wouldn’t understand.

The Hornets broadcaster explains one of the Miami Heat conditioning drills called 'The Riley drill' "The players have to go from sideline to sideline 17 times. The guards have to do it in 5 minutes and 5 seconds. The bigs have to do it in 5 minutes and 35 seconds. They of course have buckets on the side for some of these guys. Its even been told Pat Riley would sit in the middle of the corurt and watch the, If you pass the Riley test, you get to move on. If you don;t, you have to go again until you pass"

TODAY IN #SMH NEWS: Chartiers-Houston BBB has lost THREE playoff games in a row. NOT 3 games in a row but 3 PLAYOFF games in a row. They lost in the D7-Quarterfinals, then lost in D7-Consy, then lost in D7 7th/8th place game..but still advanced to the PIAA Tournament.

Tomorrow will begin my 39th District 10 Basketball Tournament. Hard to fathom. My first year at 22 years old I got to cover the amazing Kennedy BBB team win a State title. So many memories, so many incredible teams, players and coaches. Nothing I cover matches the energy of the basketball playoffs. I’ll be dead tired by the end of the day, but ready to go for the next day for the next games! Good luck to all!!
