@TheTNHoller @hasanthehun In/out the tent --he needs to STFU about political strategies he doesn't understand ie "harm reduction" voting. It's a shot at pragmatic voting strategy of black women --THE BASE OF THE PARTY! Bc he's never been in a marginalized group or cares if systemic harm is lessened /js

I’m still having a hard time wrapping my head around this. And as news reports continue to come out I’m sick to my stomach. She hugged my neck March 15th while we were in Jax. Never in a million years would have thought that would be the last time my sister was in the room with me. RIP Nancy….this one hurts. 🕊️

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Center
#OTD 58 years ago,, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his "I've Been to the Mountaintop" speech at Mason Temple (Church of God in Christ Headquarters) in Memphis, Tennessee. It was the evening before he was assassinated. It was an evening when he spoke words that are powerfully relevant and poignant today. On April 3, 1968, the night before he was assassinated, my father delivered what would be his final speech, “I’ve Been to the Mountaintop.” He spoke with a clarity that came from conviction, not certainty. He acknowledged the difficulty of the days ahead, yet he was not moved by fear. He was anchored in purpose and in a faith that justice would prevail. What stands out to me is not only what he said, but how he said it. He was preparing people to stay committed, to stay disciplined, and to continue the work, even without him. His words are not just history. They are instruction. Watch the full speech: youtu.pulse.ly/fymqiqfrfx #MLK #BelovedCommunity #Nonviolence365

It was inspiring to watch the Artemis II launch yesterday — @NASA’s first crewed mission around the moon since 1972. Our space program has always captured an essential part of what it means to reach beyond what we thought was possible, and I hope the four brave astronauts on this mission will inspire a new generation to follow in their footsteps.
