@CTVNews If Kimmel said the same thing about Michelle Obama, the outrage would ring through the world. Kimmel is irrelevant and no financial impact to ABC when they can his ass.
The American lawyer representing some of the victims of the Tumbler Ridge, B.C., mass shooting says they will likely be seeking more than US$1 billion in their lawsuit against OpenAI and its founder Sam Altman.

This is not AI.
Nor is it parody.
This is the Prime Minister of Canada.
Asking for YOUR after-tax dollars.
AFTER USING, YOUR TAX DOLLARS,
to force ALL Canadians to invest in a debt fund.
The interest is paid by you.
And liabilities are also insured by you.
So they can use their infinite political “investment wisdom,” to choose who gets YOUR MONEY.
This is Carney’s “new government”
The Liberal Cartel of Canada.
@Breaking911 You elect an Afrocentric Marxist born in Uganda, raised in South Africa, whose entire education and life's experience consists of anti-White resentment, Communist propaganda, and woke race hustling and wonder why he can't effectively manage the most capitalist city in the world?
@CTVNews If getting paid over $76k net is above the poverty line, then asylum seekers (scammers) are doing well. If your not a designated minority, you make too much for any benefits.
@DoCarryOnThen@6ixbuzztv Carney’s government introduced to encourage (some critics say "nudge") CPPIB to increase its domestic asset allocation. A significant portion of this capital is being channeled into joint ventures with Brookfield, particularly in the clean energy sector. 🚨Conflict of interest
@Desireee1983@6ixbuzztv CPP money isn’t being taken for this. CPP is legally separate and managed independently for pensions. A sovereign fund would be funded separately through government borrowing and investment, not pension contributions. Its like a investment mortgage that turns a profit.
PM Carney unveils Canada's first national sovereign wealth fund, the “Canada Strong Fund”
“This will be a Government of Canada fund, but more importantly, this will be a people's fund. It will be your fund.”
@CTVNews Seems an appropriate plea given the trading record of congress. If this man is found guilty, over half of congress should immediately be arrested for insider trading. Polymarket has him 67% odds of being found not guilty.
This is my favorite part:
"Still, the shifting political climate in Canada has left a bitter aftertaste. I remember seeing social media posts falsely claiming that Indians were defecating at Wasaga Beach, in Ontario."😅
So why did council want the Premier to ban tents on the beach if it wasn't true?
After Pradeep Ananth, his wife, Monali, and their young son, Kabir, arrived in Toronto from India, they did what Canada tells skilled newcomers to do: they put down roots. They paid taxes, opened bank accounts, signed leases, enrolled their son in school and community-centre programs, made friends and built a Canadian life. Kabir learned to love his teachers, the library, swimming, piano, basketball and a well-rounded childhood “We pictured him growing up Canadian,” Ananth writes in a memoir for Maclean’s.
But when when anxiety over housing and affordability soured public opinion on immigration, Ottawa slashed its intake targets. For Pradeep, the dream of permanent residency fell out of reach. “The country where we were putting down roots didn’t have room for us after all,” he writes. “And we had to leave.”
