@RediTlhabi No African should need visa to travel on the continent. I have seen academics missing conferences because they were unable to obtain a visa. A free visa regime will not make all Africans to migrate to their richer neighboring country. @ClaysonMonyela

And South Africans need a visa to travel to Nigeria- a e-visa or embassy issued one. Same when traveling to Addis and many other African countries. And if people want to argue that there should be no visa requirements for Africans traveling in Africa, that is a different topic. Until that is the adopted policy, the current one stands and cannot be changed at the airport, by a rich Nigerian businessman. You are a diplomat so you can't say this. I'll say it. In Nigeria an expired visa would not have been a problem for a rich man.
