@MarioNawfal Nope, the West Bank was captured by Israel after a war was initiated against them from Jordan. It is theirs by lawful capture. Only naivety led them to hand it over to the fuckwits.

Israel wants a buffer zone in Lebanon as a security guarantee against Hezbollah I have a question: What security guarantees is Israel willing to give Lebanon that they won't annex their territory as they are doing in the West Bank?

This is an interesting point, but also kinda dumb. The claim is that we need more planets because planets have atmospheres. 🤔 The second claim is that building fake atmospheres in space is too hard 🤔, and spending 8 years travelling somewhere else that might already have an atmosphere is too long. 🤔 So the solution is to find a way to travel faster than the speed of light. 😂 Chains of weak assumptions often lead to silly conclusions. 1. We could divide the atmosphere on Earth. 2. We CAN build stuff in space. 3. Eight years is not a long time in deep space. The only barrier is that some people are old, cba to build it, and won’t live to see it. Personally, I find the life regrets of people over 60 to be inspiring. I think we have pretty much all the physics we need, the age of dreaming is over, the gap is just our engineering ambition, it’s the age of G.S.D.

“Einstein is the problem.” Eric Weinstein didn’t mince words on Triggernometry. If general relativity holds, we’re trapped on one fragile planet. Even terraforming the Moon and Mars only gives us three reachable spheres — nowhere near enough diversification for long-term survival. A single catastrophe could wipe us all out because we all share the same atmosphere. The only real escape, he argues, is cracking physics beyond Einstein so we can get very far, very fast. Otherwise we’re stuck playing cosmic Russian roulette. It’s a sobering wake-up call about how dangerously misaligned our priorities have become.

Forecast of 90s this week. Looks like we skipped spring and just went right into summer here. Damn summers are going to be like 110 if we are already hitting 90s. No spring rains either, drought atm. Going to be a hell of a year for farming in this area.

🚨 ROME HAS FALLEN For the first time ever, the Vatican has built a Muslim prayer room inside its Apostolic Library. While Christians are banned from Mecca, while no church stands in Saudi Arabia, and while Europe’s cathedrals are being turned into mosques, Pope Leo XIV rolls out prayer rugs in the heart of Rome. He’s doing it side-by-side with Amy Pope, the UN’s migration chief and former Obama insider, who runs a billion-dollar machine moving “refugees” across the West. Together they preach “compassion” — but it’s really globalism disguised as faith. The UN engineers the migration. The Vatican blesses it. And Western civilization pays for it. I lived in Lebanon for 15 years, and during that time I visited southern Lebanon more times than I can remember. The first few times I went to the Israeli-Lebanese border, there was just a fence. You could see the beautiful farms on the Israeli side. Sometimes you’d notice people going about their work, and every now and then an Israeli patrol passing between the double fence. On the Lebanese side, I saw the Shia villages, people immersed in a culture of sacred violence. Flags everywhere. Images of Khamenei, Hassan Nasrallah, and Hezbollah fighters. Slogans on buildings that made everything feel heavy and ugly. A few years later, Israel reinforced the fence. There had been harassment of soldiers, and more security was needed. Still, you could catch glimpses of the other side, the contrast remained. A couple of years later, I was sad when I went to the usual spot and found a massive wall. All I could see was the ugliness on our side. Israel never initiated aggression against us. It was pushed to build checkpoints, fences, and walls, and when necessary, to come in and deal with those who know nothing but death. Mario frames his post as if Israel wants to occupy and control Lebanon, when in reality Israel is doing what the incompetent Lebanese government failed to do for decades. Israel wants to live in peace with its neighbors. It is the neighbors, driven by a divine mandate to erase Israel, who keep bringing out the worst in it.

🇮🇱🇱🇧Israel's conditions for Lebanon leaked and they amount to a partition plan... Diplomatic sources told Al-Modon that Israel wants Lebanon divided into three zones: Zone 1: An 8km buffer strip in the south. Permanent. No return for displaced civilians. Zone 2: Everything south of the Litani River becomes a military operations area where Israel dismantles Hezbollah infrastructure and disarms it completely. Israeli forces leave only when they decide they're finished. Zone 3: North of the Litani and all remaining Lebanon. The Lebanese Army must fully disarm and dismantle Hezbollah on its own. Israel won't withdraw from anywhere until Beirut proves it's done. In other words, Israel occupies the south indefinitely, controls the middle until satisfied, and holds the north hostage to conditions Lebanon's army almost certainly cannot meet. Hezbollah has been embedded in Lebanese society for 40 years. Demanding the Lebanese Army dismantle it is like demanding someone perform surgery on themselves. Today Rubio hosts Israeli and Lebanese ambassadors in Washington for the most direct high-level meeting between the two countries since 1993. These conditions are what Israel walks in with. The State Department framing: "Israel is at war with Hezbollah, not Lebanon." The Israeli plan: occupy a third of Lebanon until every last Hezbollah weapon is accounted for. Those two statements cannot coexist. Source: Aljadeed, Axios

🎯DISMANTLED: 4 underground tunnel routes in Gaza, east of the Yellow Line. The total length of the tunnels were ~800 meters. Within the underground tunnel routes, the troops located living quarters, equipment for prolonged stays, mines, and materials used by Hamas to prepare explosive devices against our troops.

@DanLinnaeus It's hilarious to me how Lebanon, through Hezbollah, is suddenly being acknowledged as a connection to the operation on Iran. A mute point previous, although undeniable fact, now front and centre to any ceasefire.

Insofar as Macron is pushing Iranian terms to Washington it’s difficult for serious observers to avoid the vibe of Macron’s partial proxy posture for Tehran’s agenda: include Lebanon in the ceasefire, stop the US blockade, negotiate Potus red lines. At the same time it’s calling on Iran to give up its toll booth, working with the UK to establish a post conflict multinational taskforce to secure Hormuz, and l’Armee francais is operating defensive missions in theater. On the totality however, this is more than mere hedging or a neutral ‘third way’. Macron’s position has been overtly anti-US intervention and preemptively capitulatory to Tehran.
Emmanuel Macron@EmmanuelMacron

Yesterday, I spoke with Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian, as well as with U.S. President Donald Trump. I urged the resumption of the negotiations suspended in Islamabad, the clearing up of misunderstandings, and the avoidance of any further escalation. It is essential, in particular, that the ceasefire be strictly respected by all parties and that it include Lebanon. It is equally important that the Strait of Hormuz be reopened unconditionally, without restrictions or tolls, as soon as possible. Under these conditions, negotiations should be able to resume quickly, with the support of the key parties concerned. France and the United Kingdom will also host a conference in Paris this Friday, bringing together by videoconference non-belligerent countries ready to contribute, alongside us, to a multilateral and purely defensive mission aimed at restoring freedom of navigation in the strait when security conditions allow.
