@Voyenik I will agree with u if u like Chinese traditional literature. However, that "culture" China is no more. This thing happened even before Culture Revolution.

Mutuals won't like this but I like China more than Japan. Their culture, history and legacy is much more interesting to me. I mean if you think about it, China is the Rome of East Asia in terms of the sheer impact of their civilization.

@ByzCat @seethroughit2 Conversion to Christianity wasn't uniform and accelerated after Rome fell. The peak periods of Christendom also occur while literacy and access to information are at relative lows. Once those restrictions are removed Europeans rapidly move away from Christianity.
