ब्राह्मणों को गाली देने से नहीं, उन्हें समझने से यह स्पष्ट होता है कि ब्राह्मण होना नहीं, बनना पड़ता है। इसके पीछे युगों से चला आ रहा त्याग, तप और साधना है। ब्राह्मण अथवा ब्राह्मणवाद कोई संकीर्ण पहचान नहीं, बल्कि समन्वय और मानवता का दूसरा नाम है। मनुस्मृति और स्कंद पुराण का प्रसिद्ध श्लोक कहता है- जन्मना जायते शूद्रः, संस्काराद् द्विज उच्यते। वेदपाठाद् भवेद् विप्रः, ब्रह्म जानाति ब्राह्मणः॥ अर्थ स्पष्ट है, जन्म से सभी शूद्र होते हैं। संस्कार और शिक्षा व्यक्ति को द्विज बनाते हैं, अध्ययन उसे विद्वान और ब्रह्म का ज्ञान ही उसे ब्राह्मण बनाता है। यानी न कोई जन्म से सवर्ण है, न अवर्ण और न ही ब्राह्मण। बिना कर्म और संस्कार के कोई भी सवर्ण नहीं हो सकता। ब्राह्मण और सवर्ण परंपरागत रूप से विश्वबंधुत्व के पक्षधर और पोषक रहे हैं, इसलिए उनसे शत्रुता नहीं, मित्रभाव रखा जाना चाहिए। UGC प्रकरण ने कई सवाल खड़े कर दिए हैं। यह दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है कि जिस व्यक्ति ने बीते 12 वर्षों में हिन्दुत्व को वैश्विक पहचान दी, एक यूजीसी विवाद आते ही उसी के लिए अपशब्दों का प्रयोग होने लगा। सवर्ण समाज की नाराज़गी यदि UGC प्रबंधन या मानव संसाधन मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान तक सीमित है, तो वह समझ में आती है। लेकिन प्रधानमंत्री का नाम लेकर अमर्यादित टिप्पणियां करना सर्वथा अनुचित है। सोशल मीडिया पर मोदी को वोट न देने या बीजेपी से दूरी बनाने की धमकियां दी जा रही हैं, पर कोई यह नहीं बताता कि हिन्दुत्व को जीवित रखने के लिए मोदी के विकल्प के रूप में किसे चुना जाएगा। सच्चाई यह है कि हिन्दुत्व का चेहरा आज भी मोदी के अलावा कहीं और दिखाई नहीं देता। सनातन मूल्यों या हिन्दुत्व की बात आते ही दृष्टि स्वाभाविक रूप से RSS और BJP पर जाती है। मोदी, योगी और हिमंता जैसे नेता केवल राजनीतिक हस्तियां नहीं, बल्कि हिन्दुत्व के सशक्त ब्रांड हैं। यूजीसी नियमों को लेकर प्रधानमंत्री की आलोचना राजनीतिक दृष्टि से हो सकती है, लेकिन इसे हिन्दुत्व और आगामी चुनावों से जोड़ना शर्मनाक है। कुछ और घटनाएं भी चिंतित करती हैं। कल महात्मा गांधी की पुण्यतिथि थी। राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू और प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने राजघाट जाकर श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की। मोदी जी एक संवैधानिक पद पर हैं, वे पहले भी राजघाट जाते रहे हैं, अब भी गये हैं। पहले किसी को कोई आपत्ति नहीं थी। पर अब आपत्ति हो रही है। वहीं UGC बदलाव पर कोर्ट के स्टे के बाद कुछ लोग इस बात पर भी नाराज़ हो गए कि मोदी राजघाट क्यों गए। प्रधानमंत्री की संवैधानिक जिम्मेदारियों तक को संदेह की नजर से देखना दुखद और अत्यंत चिंताजनक स्थिति है।

2005 में सवर्ण ग़रीबों की स्थिति पर सीनों कमीशन कॉंग्रेस ,राजद,झामुमो,डीएमके,बसपा,कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी ने बनवाया,2010 पॉंच साल में रिपोर्ट आया।सवर्ण समाज के बच्चों के हाथ में झुनझुना मिला ।मोदी जी ने ही EWS आरक्षण दिया,आज गरीब IAS,IPS,doctors,professors हैं,उच्च शिक्षा में भी आरक्षण पाकर पढ़ाई कर रहे हैं ।जो काम करे उसी का विरोध,इस UGC की भ्रांति भी लोगों के सामने आएगी,संविधान की धारा 14-15 पूर्णतया लागू होगा।काश इतनी आक्रामकता अल्पसंख्यक संस्थानों के मिले अधिकारों पर होता जो संविधान की धारा 25 से 29 तक पढ़ पाते
