@CPKolkata Dear sir, as per an old order by the Kolkata police, use of bicycles are banned in most major streets of the city. Given the current circumstances surrounding Covid-19, use of bicycles as a means for social distancing is being adopted worldwide.

Given the advent of technology such as Electric Bicycles which can help ease traffic. Don’t you think that the old order by the Kolkata Police must be revisited and changes made?

The benefits are manifold. Social distancing, reducing pollution and reducing the burden on our public transport system. Also given the current economic crisis it is also a cost effective solution for people of all classes.
