Four magical days for physics. Emergent Phenomena in Quantum Hall Systems-10 ltpi.org/epqhs10-meeting brought together outstanding physicists from around the world (ltpi.org/epqhs10-meetin…) for inspiring talks, stimulating discussions, exciting poster session, and, of course, excellent food and fellowship. An inspiring public lecture by the Nobel laureate Klaus von Klitzing (ltpi.org/public-lecture), the father of the field, organized by the @lodhafoundation and @TIFRScience and attended by ~800 physics enthusiasts. And the birth of the new Lodha Theoretical Physics Institute (ltpi.org). It is hard to imagine a better beginning. My sincere thanks to speakers, participants, organizers, and everyone else who helped make these four days possible.

I didn't say that. I said that LLM is in the hands of industry, is largely engineering, and requires too much computing resources for academics to contribute significantly. More importantly, LLMs are today's technology. Academic researchers, particularly PhD students, should be working on the next generation of technology. The next paradigm.
