Takeaways from 6 days without my wife taking care of our two 2 year olds all day: •Wives do a lot. I’m great at PLAYING not so much at planning. Man there’s a lot of planning :) -forgot directions, towels, to pack waters on 103 degree days. Makes me even more grateful for my wife. •I try hard day to day to help a lot around the house. I assumed it was close to 50-50. It is not :) -after they go to bed after a 14 hour day you then do dishes, laundry & prep for the next day. I’m super high energy, but admit it’s fun, but a different kind of exhausting at the end of these days :) Two year olds NEVER run out of energy! Yesterday at 7:30 I said bros, we’ve been to 5 parks, a play land, grabbed ice cream, played in our splash pad….. let’s chill a minute. They replied, “Daddy up. Daddy play :)” Shoutout to all you on-fire parents trying hard each day to create magical memories & give your kids awesome experiences too. It’s tiring, but it’s worth it. The DAYS are long, But the YEARS are short. 🙏❤️ Also, @GH_FightPoverty we love you, are proud of you & will see you soon!
