Before you give me “loopholes” use google and see that there are 12 year olds giving birth because they can’t get one.

Most of which aren’t even on purpose. My whole point is that the post is misleading and purposely dishonest. I do hope they close all the loopholes.

A 13-year-old can’t drive. A 13-year-old can’t vote. A 13-year-old can’t rent a movie. A 13-year-old can be forced to carry a fetus. Let that sink in.

@beard_pool76 @Marionemmie @cessonmute If there are loopholes or if parental consent is all that is needed then it is legal and they CAN. If those states did not want children as young as 13 being married they should’ve outlawed it just like they did in Minnesota or New Jersey.

The law also has exceptions unless otherwise stated. Those aren’t based specifically for child marriage. It a wide array.
