If we're going to assign responsibility, let's start with the facts. Trump did not have the constitutional authority to unilaterally shut down the country, and he didn't. Most COVID restrictions came from governors and mayors. We can debate whether those policies were wise, but history should be based on what actually happened, not on lies.

@TalSteph1 @Caseveil I disagree, it's the textbook definition of assault. Getting in someone's face and threatening violence is assault, if you follow through on those actions it becomes battery.

A man walking away saying "im going to kick your ass" does not meet grounds for assault under the immediacy clause. Walking up to someone aggressively is also not grounds for assault. The officer used reasonable judgements to determine (correctly) that no further investigation was needed.
