India is witnessing a cultural Renaissance....that's what Modi said recently in Goa. He and his party members are getting aggressive in demonising fellow citizens who practice Islam or Christianity. Their cadres enter churches and attack protests and nuns, disscerate the crucifix and Mother Mary's santos, and the altar The Muslim community is attacked all the time. BJPs trademark celebration of vulgar dances by prostitutes is a regular feature right outside the mosques. Demolishing homes of muslims and killing innocents has now become central to the party's activities Raping dalit Women and torturing and humiliating their men - urinating on them...all of that is a part of the 'cultural Renaissance' unleashed by the #Sangh and #BJP Listen here to @DevsurabheeJi

Surgical Discipline: How India’s Sugar Economy Weaponizes Women’s Bodies by Sahasranshu Dash and Devsurabhee Yaduvanshi countercurrents.org/2025/11/surgic… In India’s sugar-belt the factory bell rings not just for harvest—but for coercion. As the sugar-economy expands, the bodies of young women are repurposed: menstruation, pregnancy, any “day off” a threat to contract-quotas. Instead of public health, the result is mass hysterectomies among migrant women in their 20s and 30s—medicalised to keep the machines humming. This isn’t happening in isolation: it’s the intersecting churn of caste, climate stress, debt and supply-chain logic. An economy that prizes output over bodies is now literally cutting women out of the equation.

Three former Chief Election Commissioners of India – S. Y. Quraishi, Ashok Lavasa, and O. P. Rawat – have all said the same thing loud and clear: The current CEC, Gyanesh Kumar Gupta, asking Rahul Gandhi for an affidavit is not just irregular—it casts a cloud over the very credibility of the Election Commission. They’ve pointed out what should be obvious: the Election Commission of India 's job is to investigate any allegation of voter fraud—whether it comes from the Leader of the Opposition or an ordinary citizen. The Commission is the custodian of our electoral rolls, not a courtroom demanding affidavits. All three former CECs agreed: If they were in charge, an immediate investigation would have been ordered. Never would they resort to the threatening tone adopted by the current CEC. And most importantly, an affidavit has no legal standing in probing voter fraud. So here it is, plain and simple: 👉 3 former CECs vs 1 current CEC. 👉 Credibility vs Complicity. Now you know exactly what that means.
