Simple question- What’s more important to OUR nation: Opening the Straight of Hormuz & bringing stability to the Gulf. Or Funding Israel’s offensive in Lebanon? Israel is the jr partner in this relationship but won’t act like it until we restrict military aid to them.

New statement by Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel: The U.S. publicly threatens Cuba almost daily with overthrowing the constitutional order by force. And it uses an outrageous pretext: the harsh limitations of the weakened economy that they have attacked and tried to isolate for over six decades. They plan and announce schemes to take over the country, its resources, properties, and even the very economy they seek to suffocate in order to subdue us. Only this explains the fierce economic war being waged as collective punishment against the entire people. In the face of the worst scenario, Cuba is accompanied by one certainty: any external aggressor will encounter an impregnable resistance.

#PeoplesHistory | 🇬🇩 On this day in 1979, Grenada undertook a socialist revolutionary project to uplift the lives of Grenadians: the People's Revolutionary Government led by the New Jewel Movement. After establishing PRG, Grenadian revolutionary leader Maurice Bishop launched a massive infrastructure development project across Grenada and neighboring islands with the help of Cuba. He also launched literacy missions and implemented women empowerment policies. The NJM ruled until 1983, when Bishop, along with other ministers, were executed by a firing squad under the order of Deputy Prime Minister Bernard Coard. Their bodies were never found. A week later, the United States invaded the island.

I landed in Havana today. Trump’s fuel blockade is choking the life out of this city. Havana is near silent, empty streets, empty markets. Not because there’s no food, but because farmers can’t get fuel to deliver it. Trump is trying to starve 11 million people into submission. This is a crime against humanity, unfolding in plain sight. Night falls and the city struggles to keep lights on, in total defiance after 66 years of economic war. The world must stop looking away. Let Cuba live!
