@SW_Help Actually it’s my daughter travelling. She’s ended up on the delayed 1.45 slow train as staff on ground said that the 2 pm was not confirmed.. she had no choice but to board it at 1.55. No great shakes but poor to say the least.
@SW_Help Too late....couldn’t get through the barrier. Have been refused permission to board the train to Southampton parkway as the ultimate destination is different..... I would clearly be funding my own transport at Southampton parkway to get me to my destination...crazy please explain
@SW_Help A very short while ago you confirmed that the 13.30 from Waterloo to Portsmouth would be unaffected but is now showing as cancelled. If I cannot get this train then can I get the 13.39 to Southampton parkway instead?
@SW_Help Oh right Ok.. my mistake. So hyperthetically... should the Portsmouth line have problems then all tickets would be accepted on the Southampton route?
@SW_Help Brilliant thanks....
A further question.... if this route had been affected, would you have allowed the ticket to be used on the southern rail service from Waterloo to Southampton parkway?
I ask because it isn’t listed as a choice which seems strange?
@DiPascoe Apologies Di, these services were affected because the inbound trains to form them were affected by the tree on the line. The 13.00 and 13.30 are not affected. ^NM
