@ArableSam I had some success selling overwinter Hazel branches for pea sticks to gardeners. Might be a useful side income

@ArableSam I've previously been a Swiss army guy (or curved pruning knife) but inherited a leatherman. Useful, very useful. Light too

@fowell103 All the best for the Future David! I always found my visits to Wheatsheaf to be very thought provoking. You are leading the way for many.

“All good things must come to an end” as the saying goes. And last Friday my time with Wheatsheaf came to an end. A change of policy has meant an end to my role. After 26 years it’s on to pastures new or maybe a gap year, who knows. The regen journey has been a blast. 🐝

@MikeKing14_ Lived on brownswood road in 2000 when I was student, we (bhafc) in div 3 and at the withdean. Arsenal were still playing at Highbury (just down the road) they came second in the Premier league that year. But the fans in the local pubs just whinged incessantly. Still not stopped

Hate it when opposition players play act and cheat against us…
SantaGooner@MPasc9

@footyspeakerbox Really disappointed with Brighton players tbh. They were play-acting the whole game trying to cheat and deceive the ref on countless occasions. Then their defender was happy to injure Rice and get him sent off, and his team mates supporting his efforts. Really embarrassing.

Still absolutely fuming about this.. @_DeclanRice sent off for being brutally kicked from behind. Not an exaggeration to say this was the worst red card decision in the history of professional football.

@BBCMOTD Maybe you could actually talk about THEM when they beat a big team rather than how poor the big six team were to lose to such lowly opposition (insert name of smaller premiership club here)

Big spenders 🫰 With the not-as-expensive signing of Malick Yalcouye, Brighton have spent a whopping £167.4m in transfer fees this summer. #BBCFootball

@wearebrighton Loved this article. Spot on about Dyche being our kryptonite. You can be as tactically ticataka as you like, but if the other lot are drilled defensively and just launch it...

A brave new era starts for Brighton this afternoon at Everton under Fabian Hurzeler, the youngest manager in Premier League history What do you think is going to happen to #BHAFC? Because writing this preview made me realise I have absolutely no idea 👇 wearebrighton.com/matchday/brigh…

@MilesKing10 Quite agree, we need a mass mobilisation of small and medium scale market gardening supplying local markets. They produce high yields with little resource and can give producers a decent return. All part of fixing our broken food system.

UK self-sufficiency in fresh vegetables is at its lowest since records began in 1988. We produce just 53% of the vegetables we consume. farminguk.com/news/uk-s-self… Forget Dairy, Chicken, Beef, Pork or Lamb. This is the critical piece of food security we need to urgently address.
