Kyle Rittenhouse is not and should not be viewed as a hero. At the same time, he is innocent of breaking the law. Being innocent of a crime doesn’t make someone a hero or someone who should be looked up to. His actions that day led to people dying. He knew what he was getting himself into. You can be both innocent of breaking the law and also guilty of deliberately making really horrible choices.
