Computer game idea. Age of Mythology sequel. Early medieval. One nation could be the Franks - with paladins, archangels, dragons, saints. One could be Anglo-Saxons - with the whole Arthurian cycle of heroes. Maybe an Islamic faction with djinns and other Arabian folklore. Maybe make it really crazy and throw in some Mesoamericans.

I find this exact story in the Bible hilarious and mind-blowing at the same time. So these Jewish exorcists, the famous seven sons of Sceva, saw Paul casting out demons in God’s power and thought, “Hey, we can totally do that too!” 😂 They approached a man possessed by an evil spirit and tried their luck, all fancy and confident. The demon looked at them and said: “Jesus I know, and Paul I know… but who are YOU?” And then, plot twist, the man turned on them and beat them up. Yup, literally attacked them! This story is funny, yes, but also eye-opening spiritually. Notice that the demon knew Paul’s name, that’s because of the anointing and power of God resting on him. This kind of power isn’t limited to Paul, it’s available to all of us, but we have to work it out with God’s grace. Your name should be known in the spiritual realm because you pray, because you carry God’s power, because you are anointed, and because you are His child.

One of the greatest sins of Kingdom of Heaven is that it ends with Balian back home in France as if Saladin’s capture of Jerusalem ended the Kingdom of Jerusalem and there was nothing else for Christians there to do. In reality they counter-attacked very quickly and were besieging Acre by 1189 before Richard turned up to defeat Saladin several times and win back cities along the coast. The Kingdom of Jerusalem did not fall until over a hundred years later and the film denies its resilience.
