@darwintojesus Many people are familiar with the -scientific method, -proof through complete induction, contradiction, etc. -experimental/empirical confirmation of their prediction Some things can actually be verified (or falsified) by oneself. Other things are impossible to test or prove.

Round earthers do not understand how hard or for how long many flat earthers try to be round earthers before reaching acceptance.

What on earth is a “mental disorder” on atheism? Are minds supposed to be ordered? Are they supposed to be one way, and not another? I thought everyone just arbitrarily evolved to be the way they are, and for all you know this might even be an incredible survival strategy.

Those who are familiar with Scripture know that the words of Jesus on the cross were a quotation from Psalm 22, the first lines in fact. Jesus is not crying for help, but rather stating the fulfillment of the prophecy thousands of years ago. It is a wonderful exercise to go read through the crucifixion account alongside the Psalm (and Isaiah 53 of course). See how many of the exact things that happen and phrases spoken in Psalm 22 are repeated around the cross. "He believes in God, let HIM save him."
