@GaryMcAllister @icabbs Totally agree Gary. “By-exception” scheduling supported by intelligent triage, patient portals and remote monitoring requires dramatic overhaul of models of clinical practice, which staff are not yet ready to adopt sadly. We are still putting the building blocks in place.

Very interesting - @icabbs used to say he thought that 30% of all OPT could be gone at GST many years ago. Much of OPT is routine and doesn't need continuous review.. patient initiated FU helps.. but culture needs to change in many specialties
