The President of the United States woke up this morning and posted a 150-word personal attack on Bruce Springsteen. Not on Iran. Not on the tariffs crashing global markets. Not on the recession warnings. Bruce Springsteen. There is a standard psychological tool called the Hare Psychopathy Checklist. It has 20 items scored on a scale from 0 to 40. The cutoff for a diagnosis of psychopathy is 30.  The average person scores around 4. The average maximum security prisoner scores 22.  A panel of eminent psychiatrists assessed Trump before his 2024 sentencing in New York. He scored 36 out of 40.  The 25th Amendment exists precisely for this. Section 4 allows the Vice President and a majority of the Cabinet to declare the president unable to carry out his duties.  It has never been used. In any normally functioning democracy, the bar would be far lower. Most leaders in that position resign themselves. Instead, this one is on Truth Social at 7:58 AM calling a rock legend a dried-up prune. America is fighting a war it cannot exit in Iran. Markets are in freefall. Allies are making alternative plans. Trump says there is NO MONEY for daycare or health care. But PLENTY for his war with Iran. Trump cares more about funding his costly war than the needs of the American people.

We suffer not from a poverty of resources, but from a lack of moral imagination.

We’ve had presidents who didn’t understand economics, foreign policy, diplomacy, and lacked knowledge of historical lessons. But they were advised by people who did and listened to them. Now we have a president who doesn’t understand anything and won’t listen to people who do.

Good morning and Happy Thursday to everyone who agrees that trump's speech last night was a huge waste of time, and one of the most disgraceful of any President in history. Low energy lies, and threats of war crimes.

This speech is insane. Our President is a lunatic. Also, he sounds like a moron. A real low IQ individual. Don’t be numb to how crazy this is.

One of the most stunning things to me in this second Trump presidency debacle is how NORMAL the media, Congress, millions of Americans try to paint him as despite daily violating his oath, saying vile things, cursing, threatening Judges, profiteering off his high office, being credibly accused of horrific sex crimes against kids, destroying NATO alliances, embracing Putin, and attacking other nations without congressional approvals.

We are the wealthiest nation IN THE WORLD. If we cannot care for our own citizens, then the government needs to be literally dismantled and rebuilt from the ground up. We are human beings. We have supported this economy through our labor, commitment and tax dollars. And our collective financial contribution to this nation has been used for everything BUT improving our lives. Men and women have died in WAR to defend this country. I’ll be DAMNED if even one citizen dies because they can’t afford insulin. Fuck the oligarchy and fuck Donald Trump. WE are the people. Not those PABs sitting on their golden thrones. WE. ARE. THE. PEOPLE.

Tonight was a nationally-televised, Truth Social post with zero concepts of a plan. Trump can say we’re winning a war no one asked for—and that gas prices aren’t skyrocketing. But we all know the truth. The Senate must do our constitutional duty and rein this President in.

Trump’s speech was strange, low energy, and completely devoid of any real purpose. He regurgitated the same lies he’s been pushing about the war, offered zero clarity, and sounded unhinged. He openly threatened what amount to war crimes, casually suggested the Strait would just open up on its own, and slurred his way through the remarks. It’s unclear who that speech was even meant to persuade.

This stumble bum sounds like his batteries are empty, teleprompter is busted, and he's just making shit up off the top of his head. He just stood there and lied for 15 minutes, like it was a press briefing. What a pathetic loser.

Was the point of Trump’s speech tonight to show the nation how badly he’s deteriorated with more slurred, low energy, incoherent, nonsensical rambling? If so, mission accomplished.
