@DilshadMaster

After 21 years in TV, I found my second love - adventure travel! Love food and dogs. Hate routine. Allergic to morons.

@saybwala Morons. Is he old enough to drive? Not unless he failed twice between classes 1 and 10. And they put this up on Twitter for all to witness.

Adventure sports in India seriously need proper rules, trained people, and reliable equipment. This time on the Alaknanda river near Mata Dhari Devi, the boats had only operators and no passengers, otherwise this could have ended in a serious accident.

@virsanghvi Can’t say “maharani “ anymore so I guess “First Lady” of whatever is what they’ll have to live with. We simply can’t seem to get over our awe of the goras!

She may or may not have had a divine Darshan but she is not the First Lady of Tamilnadu or anywhere else. There is no such designation in our Constitution. Though, given the Governor’s readiness to trample on other constitutional precedents this bogus title comes as no surprise
LOK BHAVAN, TAMIL NADU@lokbhavan_tn

Governor Ravi and First Lady Tmt. Laxmi Ravi had divine darshan and puja at Arulmigu Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Srirangam. Governor prayed to Lord Sri Ranganathar for the prosperity and well-being of the sisters and brothers of Tamil Nadu and for continued development of Bharat.

@amitabhk87 Can we simply start with banning iPads and laptops in classrooms? Kids have forgotten to read text books. Ppt slides are uploaded by incompetent teachers on Canvas app. & all learning happens on it app. Don’t see a single underline, highlight, or even a dog ear on the text books!

100% agree with India's Economic Survey that we need age limits on social media now. It's frying kids' brains, decreasing productivity and focus, and will result in a generation of children that are chronically online and incapable of real-world hard work. This is not how we build Viksit Bharat. In fact, we should ban it outright in schools and colleges.

@anandmahindra May I say something? As a trekker, we know many of these pristine, unknown places - and we prefer to keep it that way. Please don’t make them known. Our average Indian tourist has no appreciation for the clean and pristine. Posts like these, destroy these wonderful spaces.

I lived up to a promise I had made to myself… After our Group’s M101 annual leadership conference in Kochi last week, on Friday I drove to Kadamakkudy to see if it truly deserves its reputation as one of the most beautiful villages on earth. Clean and pristine. Tranquil kayals stretching as far as the eye can see, with small launches chugging gently along their waters. Egrets and black cormorants, preening and drying themselves in the sun. Mesmerising. Some landscapes don’t just impress; they recalibrate you. (And I drove my Thar responsibly and carefully…!) #SundayWanderer

Kadamakkudy in Kerala. Often listed amongst the most beautiful villages on earth… On my bucket list for this December, since I’m scheduled to be on a business trip to Kochi, which is just a half hour away… #SundayWanderer

Hello! Do think this is a good idea? If yes, please read till the end. I would like to start brainstorming and working on an ambitious book project which deals with science-based nutritional advice and easy to prepare daily recipes using easily available, locally sourced ingredients (with visually stunning photographs) for people at risk of developing liver disease and people with liver disease (spanning the whole spectrum of early to advanced). This would also include liver specific dietary interventions for special diet population (vegetarians, vegans). I would also like to tackle a hell lot of misinformation in diet and nutrition (in general and liver wise) in the process. I know the science behind this. I need a well-informed clinical nutritionist and a chef who can help me go the distance. I am in a point in life where I believe that doing more for the public is far important that storing knowledge within peer circles and medical community. I want to "break the fourth wall" in medical education, by directly addressing the public and patient populace, especially when it comes to liver health. If you know anyone who is formally trained in these and willing to devote and invest time and expertise to this project, please reach out to my team at: theliverdr(at)gmail(dot)com PS: I am a very nice person in real life. I don't bite. My Mr. Hyde does all of the social media responses. Just FYI.

Let this sink in Bryan Johnson visited #India for the first time to record a podcast with Nikhil Kamath. During the shoot, which took place at a five-star hotel with an air purifier, he wore an N95 mask. Despite these, he left midway, unable to endure the room’s AQI, around 120.

@vikramchandra @raghavjoshi1010 Trek through the Indian villages in Uttarakhand, Himachal etc. They have toilets. But no running water. Every village home has a toilet - which is now used to store grains. Didn't see one toilet that was used for the purpose it was made. Not one.

@raghavjoshi1010 Partially disagree. I think it was effective in areas like open defecation and toilets for girl children. But yes a lot still to be done

There are many things about this viral post that I disagree with. But one thing is clear. India needs a massive clean-up - in Mission Mode. The air The garbage The plastic waste Civic sense Swachh Bharat 1.0 was actually quite a success in improving some problems such as open defecation. It is time for Swacch Bharat 2.0

British Indian tourist goes to India for 3 years and calls it "a dump". He says even other poorer countries in Asia like Vietnam are better. India is in denial about it's global reputation.

@kalapian_ So honestly, these articles will have little or no impact. The press will love it, bhakts will make it go viral with their comments feigning afront & patriotic BS, & the matter will be forgotten. I’m sorry for being so sceptical but I see little hope.

@kalapian_ Pre-COVID, Tourism generated 10% of India’s GDP - 10%, without much effort from the government & with abysmal infrastructure. Yet it was, and is still treated, like the step child no one wants. For eons now, the junior-most minister in the cabinet is made the tourism minister….
