Nobody tells you this when you pick a career.
Every profession has a different finish line.
Athlete - peak is 24. Retired before 30. The sport moves on before the body does.
Model - peak is 22. Career lasts 3-5 years. The industry finds your replacement before you find yourself.
Soldier - prime at 26. The body starts losing the argument at 35. Twenty years in and the pension follows you out.
Airline Pilot - spends 20 years in a co-pilot seat. Reaches captain in their 40s. Mandatory retirement at 65.
Surgeon - peak performance is 35-50. It takes a decade of training just to get in the room. Hands and eyes start losing the margin for error after 65.

a MEV bot sitting in the ethereum mempool saw a $50 million unprotected transaction and did what MEV bots do

Monad focusing on natives alone wont serve them success outside monad bubble, part being a decentralized chain. so i guess natives dapps can thrive if they give marketing right now about possible airdrops

ig monad needs more trusted defi platforms so it'd help more users to be able to get to explore the monad ecosystem also show how aligned they are w eth as well
but some thoughts i have here is 15m usd is too much
i understand the cost of this is mainly for yields/campaigns but for the sake of accountability, w be better if the team breaks it in bits and monad has to pay imo, better than paying 15m up front
apps like mega eth, plasma got even fair deals
and that aside, neverland literally does the same thing as aave tbh and w not be bad also if monad could bootstrap them w more or less the same yields and campaigns as well and also help make sure that the application as as safe as it can be
at some point aave was where neverland is today and w constant support, they were able to break out somehow
so yeah, w be nice if monad too can offer the same support cuz never land is native to monad and already doing crazy rev in less than 6 months of monad launch
so get aave if they can
but also offer support to neverland so that at some point, we can grow ours too
this should be our major piority here
cuz last thing we wanna do is shatter the momentum never land is on atm and we need our own native apps too to move away from the notion that monad is too reliant on established applications
we can obv negotiate better deal w aave so we can apply those funds to something else

I don't understand why Monad doesn't prioritize native, when builders have trusted and choose Monad from the beginning.

i saw some negative comments around aave deploying on monad. here is my honest take:
i've been waiting for this. if you're bullish on the chain, i think you should be bullish on this too
aave and native lending protocols serve different markets. big players and institutions need battle tested infra before they move capital in. thats not what early stage native protocols offer yet, and thats okay
small protocols shouldnt fight this. they should use it as a signal to sharpen their niche, go after the markets aave wont touch, and build on top of the composability it brings
net positive for builders. net positive for the ecosystem. net positive for monad long term 💜
