The Wolves may be one missing piece away from reaching the Finals... And that piece may be already on the team. Rob Dillingham was the 8th overall pick in the 2024 draft, but with the Wolves' strong core this year, he barely played. He averaged just 10.5 minutes a game - good for 11th on the team. But with Conley being 37, Dillingham could be primed for a bigger role next year. The Wolves struggled with turnovers all season, and were 18th in TO/game at 14.5. That number went up to 15.3 in the playoffs (via NBA Stats). A playmaker who can take care of the ball should be one of their top priorities. And Dillingham fits the bill. At Kentucky, he created his own shot, created for others, and was an excellent decision-maker. The SEC Sixth Man of the Year deserves his shot to develop and grow.  And if he pans out how they think he will, he might be exactly what the Wolves need to finally get over the hump. 👀
