We're proud to celebrate the men and women who keep Alabama safe. From state law enforcement officers at the Bureau to our state, local and federal partners, their courage and commitment are critical to ensuring stronger, safer communities across Alabama. #NationalPoliceWeek

It's Alabama Lineman Appreciation Day, and we commend these professionals for powering our state! We're grateful for our partnership with Alabama Power and Ingram State Technical College that created a tree-trimming training program at the PREP Center!

Roughly 500,000 more people could stay out of prison over the next decade *if* we reduce recidivism by 30% and *if* enough states join the national #Reentry2030 initiative. Is your state ready to get involved? Read our new analysis on the potential impact: hubs.la/Q049Cg7P0 #SecondChanceMonth

Congrats to the largest graduating class from the PREP Center yet! As one of the top transition programs in the nation, the PREP Center strengthens Alabama’s workforce while ensuring reentry success. This class puts us over the 550 graduate mark and a recidivism rate under 1%!

Thank you to U.S. @RepCarolMiller and @RepDannyDavis for leading a bipartisan call for continued funding for the Second Chance Act in FY 2027. This vital program makes our communities safer by supporting reentry services that help people succeed after incarceration. hubs.la/Q047l03-0

I think this might be the best way to describe the Nebraska takeover in Oklahoma City. Spoken from a Saint Mary's fan. "You guys showed up like gremlins. Don't feed them after midnight, they'll multiply." #Huskers | @1011_News

Statements on Scott Cross from Chancellor Dr. Jack Hawkins Jr. and Director of Athletics Kyle George.

Great season for @TroyTrojansMBB, but they ran into a Big Red buzzsaw today. Nebraska, the team and the crowd, was just too good. Huskers win 76-47 for the program's first NCAAT win. Troy will have to wait till next year to try to join Alabama, Auburn, UAB, South Alabama and Alabama State as in-state schools that have won in the Big Dance.
