Zombies fatigue isn’t real just like there’s no Multiplayer fatigue. Remember when people said there’s Superhero Movie fatigue and that was proven to be BS. Same goes for Zombies. People simply didn’t like the other modes made by other dev studios because it wasn’t Treyarch. That’s not fatigue, that’s just preference. If BO4 Zombies had an overwhelmingly positive launch, no one would be saying “Zombies fatigue”. And then between CW and BO6, that wasn’t Zombies fatigue people were dealing with, people didn’t like that it was not Round based Zombies and it was just rushed modes made by Treyarch only. If other studios made their own take on Zombies, it wouldn’t be as popular as Treyarch but it can still be well received.

@ItzPerka You say this but I feel fatigued, I played 21 days of bo6 zombies and now we’re halfway through bo7 zombies with a mode that’s better in every way and I’ve only managed 5 days game time. I feel VERY fatigued

@ZoneXbez A unique map mechanic of some sort. Because it's rumoured the maps a volcano, I was thinking it'd be cool if lava dynamically raised over some of the lower points of the map and forced you to migrate (could be just a special round thing, could be something more expensive)

@xpertfusion3 @MmmmDoughnuts21 I think something like a retread to some Classic Mechanics with some brand new innovations to make the mode exciting would be good. The game has definitely gotten too fast-paced in recent years, so something more methodical would be greatly appreciated

@xpertfusion3 @MmmmDoughnuts21 In fairness we got a variant of those mechanics for IW and WW2. I know those have tweaks (WW2 armour system being the biggest) but they do broadly play similarly. I think a refresh was worthwhile during BO4/ Cold War but we've definitely hit that spot again for something new.

There are more Treyarch Round-Based maps released after BO3 than there are Treyarch Round-Based maps released before BO3, including BO3. Before & Including BO3 (22 Maps Total) - WaW = 4 Maps - BO1 = 6 Maps - BO2 = 6 Maps - BO3 = 6 Maps After BO3 (24 Maps so far, 26 by the end of BO7) - BO4 = 8 Maps - CW = 4 Maps - Vanguard = 2 Maps - BO6 = 6 Maps - BO7 = 4 Maps (6 Maps confirmed)

Recently had a dream where there was a zombies map split into three distinct sub maps where each sub map continued a story about the siege of Berlin with zombies around. I woke up only to realize I basically dreamed of the Shadowed Throne if it was The Tortured Path

@wondermagenta @vvorm__ @shtien94561 I dunno if that's totally true, he's a big supporter of tank control of RE compared to the modern "smoother" controls of the new games. He's definitely a big believer in a games technical state being an "objective" thing that can be improved though.

Whether you buy this new game or not, those people still work at the studio and deserve acknowledgement

Thinking back to it a lot more now it's strange Treyarch hasn't tried to put more emphasis on the Sentinel Artifact we find in the Tomb. It is a device found within "the heart of the dark aether" and is seemingly connected in huge ways to the DA.
