I just left Costco and I feel like an idiot...
The people in front of me bought $1,200 in top shelf alcohol, cases of redbull, and steaks.
They split it up and paid for the steaks and redbull with EBT, and then pulled out a giant wad of $100 bills to pay for the alcohol in cash.
WTF am I doing with my life??? I haven't bought steak in years - I haven't bought alcohol in decades. Too expensive. On the rare occasion we eat out, I buy the cheapest thing on the menu.
Yet these people can just casually drop thousands of dollars of my tax money on things I can't even afford?? Just to drive home to a taxpayer funded house nicer than I live in.
We are completely destroyed as a society.

On Bowen Byram: The people posting his advanced analytics and dunking on the deal are posting a weighted average of the past 3 seasons and not acknowledging the significant jump last year. He’s going to continue to grow on both sides of the puck, have a 15 point uptick on the PP, and in a year when the deal actually kicks in no one is going to be talking about it because it will be fair. He will never be the highest paid defenseman in the league because by the time we reach 27/28 there will be a handful of guys making significantly more. But ya a team that’s trying to take a step out of a rebuild is taking a gamble on a young player’s development curve so all the know it alls are going to do their engagement farming, I get it, it’s the game. I love the game and have been known to play ball from time to time as well!

By the way that Chicago Blues Festival last weekend was peak. Literally my first experience of the city. Came from the airport, dropped my bags & strolled through downtown on my own when I randomly saw this in Millennium Park.
Thousands of people having a chill picnic in the grass listening to this lovely gentleman playing his music. Absolute vibes. That‘s when I knew I was gonna enjoy my time here 😅
