Why you don't like the Ultrawatch skins, an ART ANALYSIS🧵!! I like to be an informed hater if I am ever going to be one, so here are my thoughts on why some upcoming skins feel underwhelming, and how some are so great! 1/?

There may never have been a day as big as today for indie games. On the back of mass layoffs of major AAA studios, today more high-profile and under-the-radar gems are releasing on May 9th than any other day in recent memory. They need your support. Here's a thread of 'em! 🧵

Steam activity for 1Bit Survivor by @acheronti. I'm in this chart and I don't like it . (Because there should be way more people in it!) Go check out 1Bit survivor on steam or on your phone. Its a very polished round based game at the intersection of relaxation and thrill.

#InOtherWaters is like flipping through a coffee table book. Immersed in the vibe. Clicking through points of interest (pages) curious for what will come next. A story bit? Something to collect? Diving (pun intendened) into the details of each POI as much as you want or don't!

Aria In Other Waters has hit episode 13. This Japanese dramatisation and science explainer for the whole game is one of the most incredible projects we’ve seen 🐟🐠🐟

2. Orwell by @osmoticstudios is a fantastic halogencore narrative about sifting through phone calls and documents as a government investigator uncovering a terrorist plot. The sequel is on my to-do list.

Games I Beat in 2023! I love participating in the hype when a new video game comes out, but in the last year I picked up some less recent games and some even older classics. Here is a small slice of the games I played — the ones I actually finished.

@StasisGame Sayonara Wild Hearts manages to induce stress by perceived speed and matching music - at the same time having no really consequence besides having to repeat the last couple seconds and reducing points. Stress increases when you try to go for an achievement that requires accuracy

Game designers and gamers - is it possible to design a game that gets the stress levels up WITHOUT introducing the fear of death - or using 'death' as a punishment? What are some great examples of this?

Reached the credits of #Storyteller. It’s too easy until it’s sometimes not. I wish it had some sort of hint system. Maybe highlighting items that are in the correct position/order

@FoW_Games Love the artstyle! The characters looks remind me of the guy in the game "Bastion". Its the white hair mixed with the proportions and occasional carrying an oversized weapon I guess
