I'll say this much, if Republicans nominate Rubio, Democrats have to think long and hard about who they run. A lot of the anti-Trump previously Republican-leaning suburban vote could snap right back to Rubio under the wrong circumstances.

Thinking about Joe Hernandez today. Every year, I visit his final resting place at Arlington National Cemetery. When I arrived at my unit as a brand new private in 2006, Joe always took the time to check-in and offer encouragement during my first year in the Army. He was hardworking, smart, hilarious, generous, and deeply loyal to his country, his family, and his fellow soldiers. He set an example of leadership that’s stayed with me ever since. After he was killed by a roadside bomb in Jaldak, Afghanistan in 2009, Joe became the first junior enlisted soldier to be buried with full honors at Arlington, where he had spent the first few years of his Army career carrying the flag-draped caskets of other fallen service members. He was beloved by all, and seventeen years later, I still miss him.
