Assuming there isn’t another move coming… The obvious choice is Brad Lord to fill that spot in the rotation but he’s just been so good in his long relief role I’d rather go with Alvarez until Irvin is back

Okay so this thread I’m QTing is a good conversation around the Nats former #1 overall prospect Dylan Crews. I chose this comment from @NatsOfTheFuture purposefully because I think something has changed back, and for the better The swing on the far right is from 4 days ago and boy does it look a whole lot like the swing from his Sr. year at LSU A few major differences being that he starts a bit taller and simplified the lower half movement. With more accrued strength and more consistent high-velocity, he is letting other variables create power and timing With that said, this is as good as we've seen his swing look in my opinion since he was drafted and I'm curious to see it translate at the big league level @PaulCubbage23 @jowole1216
