The average person eats about 1-1.2 lbs per meal, assuming they have 3 meals a day that makes 3-3.6 lbs per day
So these 140 people will themselves eat 420-500 lbs of food every day they're there.
So they just basically brought enough food for themselves for 12 days of holiday.

There is a food shortage in Cuba as a result of the blockade, and the aid that most needed in Cuba is medicine and baby formula because infants and sick people are most at risk to die from starvation.
