@rickygervais I love that @rickygervais just calls out the BS and general hypocrisy. Also at the end of the day it is comedy so if you don't like it then whoops soz. Sometimes I find him a bit uncomfortable and you don't see me being insulted like these over privileged, free loading monkeys

@Top_Gunner68 @AngelaRayner The correct grammar is “would have”. Where on earth do people get these notions that things would be worse under Labour? What evidence? Over time, there have been 2 Tory governments for every Labour one - and where do we find ourselves … ?

@Nigel_Farage You are one of the absolute 🔔🔚's that pulled the plug. Your agenda and moral compass are what are truly broken.

The cost of meeting the nurses' pay demand - £1.6bn 🏥 Cost of Sunak's bank tax giveaway - £7.3bn 💸 They have the money to give nurses a proper pay rise- they just don't want to. RT if you back a real pay rise for our nurses 👊

@asiapac001 @IsabelOakeshott Not just underfunding of the NHS. One of the biggest issues is the underfunding of the social and community service sector. Due to this beds are blocked for an amazing amount of time when they shouldn't be. This in turn causes massive backlogs

The absolute state of the NHS. Local GP surgery sends me four texts. Three, addressed personally to my young kids, say don’t bother asking for a doctor as the practice is “in danger of being overwhelmed.” Fourth invites me for a covid booster I don’t need. Priorities??

@tomwizard @IsabelOakeshott To get that funding in this country we would have to be willing to pay more tax. Unfortunately people want a better health service but aren't always willing to pay more to get it . That and a radical restructure is needed of the NHS. Unfortunately that would be political suicide

Jeremy Corbyn wanted to restrict CEO pay to a maximum of twenty times that of the lowest paid employee. The Post Office CEO last year got a whopping £753k. Under Jeremy’s policy a new Postie would earn £37,650, instead of £22,425 pa. Or the CEO gets less. It makes sense.

@Mr_OJM @campbellclaret It's not so much the voter ID it's what is acceptable as ID, e.g. senior railcards acceptable but student railcards not

Becoming increasingly clear we have a profoundly anti-democratic government which wants to change, bend or break the rules to make sure they get “the right kind of voter”. Voter ID: Electoral Commission’s stark warning over Elections Act revealed opendemocracy.net/en/election-wa…
