cool products i came across this week ⬇️ • @mintlify - making documentation feel like part of the product, not an afterthought. • @flowdotclub - virtual coworking that makes deep work surprisingly social. • Slashy AI (@GaddipatiHarsha) - an AI assistant that handles your inbox like you would. • @Octolens - catches buying signals and brand mentions before your competitors do. founders are shipping some ridiculously cool products. what should i check out next?

New role opening for one of the most important hires we'll make. We're hiring a GTM Eng to help scale the engine we've built for AgentMail. This is a founder-oriented role, to completely build, own, and distribute the systems you've built end to end.

Fall applications for @ycombinator close in 2 weeks and I'm going all in. Last month, I made a post about my YC rejection and it went viral, gaining 44,000 views. Afterwards, I got DMs from YC and Founders Inc founders to work for their startups, but I turned them all down. I told everyone I wouldn't give up on building my own startup until I fucking died. Most people called me crazy. The few who stayed are the reason I kept posting. Since then, I've been bootstrapping @kleoklaw. YC, I'm coming for you.😈

things i’m not doing anymore: - pretending i need to be technical to have useful opinions on tech. - confusing being busy with moving the needle. - thinking a non-linear career means i’m behind. - waiting until i move to a bigger city to build a bigger life. - assuming the internet is too crowded for one more distinct voice & the multi-passionate lore continues.....

Think of startup sales as a doctor/patient relationship. If you just walked into the doctor's office and they said "here take this prescription", you wouldn't trust it at all. They don't even know what problems you have yet! Sales is the same. You are the doctor/expert that has to ask lots of questions to understand your customer's problems before you earn the right to show how your product can help. (shoutout @ryanRneu for teaching this to many founders)

@sharran not just a sales asset, but a reminder of who you were, what you learned and how far you’ve come :)

The older I get, the more I realize that your stories are your greatest sales asset. Document everything, forget nothing.

@manjiripathak16 just checked katha daily and i really loved it. I wonder if u could use a grandma type voice from @ElevenLabs to give that childhood nostalgic feeling and then use @boardyai to find initial users?

Reminder to self and especially to the parents with young kids.. A little bit of sun, bubbles, fresh air and a walk is the reset you need. And if nothing else, a short drive is the ultimate cheat code.

@nikunj there’s something oddly grounding about the fact that even with infinite tools, the hardest part is still knowing what’s worth your time!

What’s funny is I’ll meet so many people in SF who’ll claim they are tokenmaxxing and have all of these subagents looping things for them.. But when I ask them “what” and for “whom” are they building, very few can give me a straight answer. Shows that even in this insane AI era, simplicity and direction are still ridiculously important. So before you let your tokens go brrr, take some time to think if what you’re building (for a living) is actually important. Time is literally the only thing you don’t get back!
