Over the weekend, there were close to 200 swatting incidents and bomb threats targeting synagogues and Jewish institutions across the country. Targeting Jews who are trying to pray peacefully in a house of worship IS antisemitism. It IS hateful. And it has NOTHING to do with Israel. To the general public, stand up and reach out to your Jewish friends. We need everyone’s voice.

Hamas used rape as a weapon of war. They intentionally raped and murdered Israeli women on Oct. 7th. The refusal of some to acknowledge this completely undermines the cause of Palestinian liberation. Hamas is not synonymous with Palestinians. Stop rationalizing their brutality.

.@RepJayapal, most wars don’t feature premeditated rape as part of the war plan. Individual acts of rape from lack of discipline, which tragically does occur in war, is different than “preconceived and premeditated” rapes, which as one leading expert told me was Hamas’ plan.

As @UN _Women marks #16days for the prevention of violence against women, we remind the world of the horrific instances of sexual violence, including rape, by Hamas against Israelis on October 7. There is #NoExcuse for gender-based violence. Listen and #BelieveIsraeliWomen.

“It is important that we remember that Arab Israeli citizens are an integral part of Israeli society” and that “the Arab citizens of Israel are pained, like all of us, by the criminal massacre of innocent children, women, and the elderly." Israeli Minister @GantzBe speaks directly to Israel's Arab community, an integral part of the State of Israel. Israel is a nation of all its citizens and its people live in peace with one another — Arabs, Jews, Muslims, Druze, and Christians. When Hamas targets Israelis, it targets all of them.

The whole world watched how a German woman's body was paraded naked by Hamas terrorists, who are backed by the Islamic Republic of Iran. The barbaric regime in Tehran beat Armita Gravand a 16 old girl into a coma for not wearing a hijab. I told @CNN: we have only one solution.

If you don't live in Israel or consume Israeli media, you don't know who Yair Golan is. He is a 61-year-old retired Major General in the Israel army and a former parliament MP. Spend a minute to read this story. Yesterday, when IDF and the police were in complete chaos, Golan put on his old uniform, took his weapon, and drove into the war zone multiple times to rescue civilians under fire. He rescued two young adults hiding under a bush after 260 of their friends were murdered at an outdoor party. He answered a call from a journalist that his son was hiding under fire and simply said, "Give me his location, and I will bring him back home." An hour later, the son called his father from Golan's car. Golan collected a small crew and went in and out of the war zone, rescuing dozens of people while exchanging fire with Hamas terrorists. He is 61, he could have stayed home, but he chose to risk his life for people he does not know. Golan is one of the strongest voices from the Israeli left and was constantly attacked by the right wing in Israel. But when the time came, he was first fighting the barbaric attack. The same brain wiring that supports peace, is often the same wiring that drives people to do the right thing. A true hero.

260 lives, the majority of them young, were tragically taken at an Israeli music festival, as a result of Hamas' terrorism. Think of the energy and life you find at festivals like Lollapalooza or Coachella. Now, what should have been a joyous event has turned into a nightmare. We stand in total solidarity with the people of Israel following a massive, unprovoked attack by Hamas. Dozens of terrorists infiltrated Israel in the early hours of Saturday, storming communities and homes, kidnapping and murdering civilians. At least 22 people have been killed, with hundreds more injured, many in critical condition. More than 2,500 rockets were fired into southern and central Israel, putting millions of Israelis at risk.
