@ArtistDuality @belegmoradin We are using the @questrpg system, but it results in the same thing... A decrease in abilities. It would work in 5e as well. We play every other Monday. Next Monday is our season finale until the New Year.

Reminder: Police are trained to believe everyone is against them and that everyone is attempting to prevent them from going home to their families. Thus, they treat you as a criminal with a weapon ready to use it on them. Hence, they are ready to deploy deadly force instantly.

Just as an update to anyone concerned (I realize I left you all hanging as I passed out from sheer exhaustion): ER went well. Nothing life threatening. Got meds to help the symptoms and a DR visit for Thurs to hopefully find the root of what's going on. Everything's fine though.
