Just hit a massive loss streak on Marathon and wow, this game is grim if you get into a negative loop. When you just become a zero prio contract progress gear donation service for three hours straight it does make you question why you're still playing. I get the casino concept and high highs/low lows of extraction shooters, but this is Tau Ceti IV, not Vegas. Even when the house is winning, we should be getting a little bit back. Bungie pls add a sense of meta-progression that trudges on even if you're in a series of back to back to back slimings. These sessions just feel like a complete waste of time otherwise. It's surely a big part of what turns players off the game as well.
