Spent 2.5 hours at the Bihar Museum in Patna yesterday and it wasn’t nearly enough! The Museum is a world-class gem — the seamless blend of modern architecture and ancient treasures is stunning. I spent over two hours wandering through the Mauryan, Gupta, and Pala dynasty collections, and I still feel like I missed so much. The interactive Children's Gallery and the courtyard spaces are 10/10 as well.

It’s shameful that classes have been rescheduled or shifted to online mode because of a rally in Patna by a political party .The rally is being held on a full working day,during peak working hours. Is it the seriousness politicos should show at least to education? @PMOIndia

As a cancer physician, everyday I see injustice being meted out to persons because they are drawing some salary, no matter how paltry that might be. @MoHFW_INDIA and @PMOIndia should come out with equity and justice in cancer treatment.

Cancer treatment demands justice. Financial assistance to a fixed extent should be made available to all, irrespective of their income. A Rickshaw-puller should be helped, so also a school teacher even if the later draws a salary. 1/2

Is it right to requisition school buses for election related works,@ECISVEEP ?This hampers the studies of students and harasses the parents as well. Classes of DPS,Patna are going online for next 5 days as buses are pressed for electioneering. Very bad! @PMOIndia @NitishKumar

Can’t fathom how and why Chinese origin immunotherapy drugs got approved for use in India,without any proper trial in Indian Population. Some centres have started to use these drugs for cancers where even Chinese authorities have not given go-ahead. @JPNadda @MoHFW_INDIA

Moreover,lack of awareness leading to cancer presenting in advanced stages is common. Much of India is not having hospice and pain care centres which are needed the most in such cases. India must strive to provide a painless death to terminally ill patients. @JPNadda @MoHFW_INDIA

Bihar, an eastern state of India with a per capita income of Rs 36,333 ( USD 412) has a population of 12 crores. High pitch campaign of new molecules for cancer treatment has got hardly any value due to prohibitive costs. Where’s equality in global Oncology? @JCO_ASCO 1/2

Large-scale hospice care training and availability of Hospice centres are extremely needed in India. There should be a 50 bedded hospice centre at every district hospital and 20 bedded hospice centres across all community health centres. @JPNadda @MoHFW_INDIA
