St George’s flag stands for unity over hatred and decency over division.
Those are the values I will always fight for.
Some try to hijack our flag to spread hate, I reject their plastic patriotism.

🚨 NEW: Keir Starmer has called out those who try to "hijack our flag" in the name of "plastic patriotism" as he marks St George's Day
"We must be absolutely clear about who we are. How we respond now will shape this country for decades to come. That means when people try to hijack our flag to spread hate, we should call it out for what it is: plastic patriotism that corrodes the very bonds that tie us together.
"It also means backing the mainstream majority of people in this country: the decent, tolerant people who want to get on and build a stronger country, and it draws a hard line against extremism in all its forms.
"I know what the flag of St George stands for. It stands for decency over division. Unity over hate. And a country where patriotism is measured by what you put in, not what hate you stir up. Those are the values I will always fight for"

🚨 BREAKING: No 10 hits back at Olly Robbins' claims
- Denies applying "constant pressure", saying "there is difference between asking for updates on an appointment process and the idea of being dismissive about vetting"
- On the claim that the Cabinet Office didn't think any vetting was needed, No 10 says there were discussions at the time with Cabinet Office and Foreign Office officials around security clearance for members of the House of Lords, but these talks concluded there did need to be vetting
- Denies UKSV were only "leaning against" clearance for Mandelson, saying the vetting body "clearly recommended against" and that this should have been communicated to the PM
- Refuses to deny Robbins' claim that he was told find an ambassadorship for Starmer's then comms director Matthew Doyle, simply saying "he left his role at No 10, he didn't take up a role at the Foreign Office, [but] not able to get into personnel questions"

THIS IS HORIFFIC
5-year-old Charlotte Buskey was starved to death by her own father in a house of horrors in Schenectady, New York.
Robert Buskey Jr, 35, locked his daughter in her bedroom for months with an external lock and tape so she couldn’t escape.
He gave her no food or water and left her to die curled in the fetal position inside a small pack n play crib.
The little girl was found severely emaciated, dehydrated, with sunken eyes, her body completely devoid of food according to the autopsy.
Her brother was drugged with cocaine and locked in a makeshift cage in the dining room.
The father spent his days playing video games and using drugs while both children were completely cut off from the outside world.
The house was stocked with food, yet the children were deliberately starved and neglected.
Buskey pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and giving narcotics to a child.
He was sentenced to 27 years to life.
Sickening beyond words.

Vote Green in May
English

Hold Your Nose and Vote Reform in May – Then Back Restore at the GE
With the May local elections fast approaching, it’s time we all give serious thought to how we vote.
Restore isn’t standing in most areas, only in Great Yarmouth so that option is off the table for the vast majority of us. At the same time, we can’t let frustration with Reform lead us to stay at home or split the vote in a way that hands more councils to far-left or Islamist-leaning parties.
Look at recent by-elections: the Greens are gaining ground and look set to win seats and even councils in some places.
The lower the turnout from our side, the easier it is for them to take control.
So, while it may not be ideal, I believe we should all hold our noses and vote Reform in the upcoming May local elections and mayoral contests. Then, when the next general election comes, if Restore is properly organised and in a position to win, we can all get behind them. 🇬🇧🏴

Boris Johnson will happily hang the last civil servant out to dry before he takes responsibility or does the right thing.
Fresh from throwing junior staff under the bus, he’s plotting to sacrifice his henchman to save his own skin.
Rotten to the core.

It is preposterous for Starmer to claim he did not know Mandelson failed security vetting.
If the Prime Minister doesn’t know what’s happening in his own office, he shouldn’t be in charge of our country.
He should go.
