BIP-110 is a moral obscenity. It demands that Bitcoin; the product of man’s mind, the tool of his voluntary trade and unbreached integrity; to voluntarily cripple itself, that it abnegate its own nature and shackle the free choices of rational men in the name of some undefined ‘purity’ or ‘protection’ of the chain.
This is self-abnegation erected into a principle: the demand that a system of objective value, built on the right of each man to use his property and his code as he sees fit (so long as he does not initiate force), renounce its efficacy and bind its users for the alleged sake of others who claim to be offended by the content of their transactions.

NEWS: Tesla has officially discontinued Autopilot in the U.S. and Canada. All new car purchases now come standard with Traffic-Aware Cruise Control.
The online configurator has now been updated to allow buyers to choose the $99/month FSD subscription, while still offering the option to purchase FSD outright for $8,000 until February 14th.

The user could have taken home over 3.125 BTC.

Avalon Nano 3S submitted a share at a difficulty high enough to find a block. However, the miner was pointed at Foundry Pool, so the operator did not receive the full block reward.
This event was noticed on the HashWatcher app, which flagged the unusually high-difficulty share and brought attention to it.

Remember: the instant you type your passphrase, you’re vulnerable. A thief can physically coerce you to send your BTC right then and there.
With multi sig? Not so much. They’d have to force you to build the transaction, then drag you to multiple locations to collect enough signatures for quorum (e.g. 3 of 5).
By that time, police are far more likely to get involved.
No silver bullets in Bitcoin security, but multi sig makes $5 wrench attacks way harder.

I would love to mitigate spam on bitcoin but I know with 100% certainty knots and bip444 do not mitigate any spam. They simply move it to worse places.

Reduces the most harmful UTXO bloat (stamps, some brc20, the harmful type of fake pubkeys (not the multi-sig variety), dust bombing attacks, etc.). Where would we be without the "original" dust filter?

“I dont like spam” != “spam is an existential threat to the purpose of bitcoin” Many people believe the first. Very few people believe the second. Even the pro-fork people don’t believe it. You should pay attention to the comments supporting the bip. Many of them are “we need to fire core” or “rug the shitcoiners”.

@TheBlueMatt I just wish all the core developers were fully anonymous I think it should just be a requirement at this point just restructure the whole thing using radicle (decentralized GitHub) then we can just focus on the code and not the people
