@cooneycongress Another fucking retard that's running for political office but doesn't understand the basic fundamental that we are NOT a "democracy"...
English

@bizlet7 True...but he really was a shitty choice for Paul...
English

@Aliathewhite @TheCinesthetic I agree with almost all of your comments...especially Yueh and William Hurt (I'll never understand how he gets work). The budget was the issue for the most part...
English

@DoctorQuantum @TheCinesthetic If scifi channel had a better budget, better costumes and a few actor changes, it'd be spot on. Its still the best adaptation though like you said

Dune (1984) gets written off, even by Lynch, but the film’s worldbuilding is doing its own thing. Baroque sets, strange textures, and a future that feels alien in a way few sci-fi films even attempt. It’s rough, but there’s nothing else like it.

What is the most unfairly hated movie that you will defend every time

@ginamilan_ DC is full of whores selling us out while they get rich.

You ever sit and just watch the trees move and the blades of grass sway in the gentle breeze as a bird sings on a branch, taking in the wonder of God's creation...
And then you notice a chemtrail and ask yourself why the HELL we let p*dophilic satanists steal 40% of our money to poison us and blow up the world?

He radiates stability and quiet confidence from every angle. Hair on point, demeanor serene, everything in harmonious place—clearly someone operating at maximum emotional bandwidth with zero turbulence. The definition of composed.
Then, out of nowhere, well adjusted people like this end up snapping, and no one saw it coming.
The key is to look for 'signs' or patterns of behavior (as difficult as they may be to detect) which might appear odd—or off-balance.

@Aliathewhite @TheCinesthetic While the 1984 Dune was special for it's time, I still think (given the limited budget) the SciFi Channel version nailed the feel better and has a much better cast...

It actually feels like DUNE.
And even with some of the story changes, Herbert really enjoyed it. His three biggest gripes with the theatrical cut were :
1. Not showing Thufirs death.
2. The rain scene at the end.
3. He wasn’t fond of some of the designs, but others he genuinely loved, actually more than he had originally pictured, and he wanted those favorites printed and hung as artwork in his home.

English

everyone confused as to why he’s bald now but it’s so clearly supposed to show his harkonnen side as his reign descends into more and more visible corruption…

From hair to baldy ass, the hair loss of Paul Atredies in ‘DUNE: PART 3’.

@Cloud1a7 From the look of that twatwaffle's mouth, gums, and teeth I'll bet the kid was actually trying to be nice about it...
English

@Gibron_Lastname Was this the face you were making while you watched black Rambo kill the evil honkys?

English

I agree truly the performance of a generation
Pol Atreides@Aliathewhite
Michael B. Jordan just won Best Actor for the groundbreaking role of “black guy who kills White people.” Truly the performance of a generation.

@projectpeace @iheartmindy And you can find them in movies and television long before that...

@iheartmindy LMAO. Take some aeronautical courses, and learn about ice crystals and contrails at 30,000 feet.

@TheMiddleborne I really like Walken as an actor, but he's no prize as Shaddam IV. He's too old an frail looking now.
