Feyd Rautha’s attack on the Fremen in the movie even without the child death still get Paul’s ass into action after he was still having internal conflict to go to the council and become that vengeful messiah he is in the books.

That is their second set of children, the twins. They aren't born until the second book. If I recall, they don't know they're twins, which is why the movie refers to them as just one child. Those are the children the movie is referring to. They don't even acknowledge the first child in the movie.

@BoltTheWord @Primm_Slim6969 In the books Paul is not a hero and they show in the book and the movies that this is not a heroic arc he’s going on he’s digging himself further and further into becoming a cautionary tale about charismatic leaders which is the exact message of the book so what’s the problem?
