Are they white, black or brown ? It’s quite important for local women to at least know the basic descriptions ffs. We are talking about a dangerous rape gang.

🚨The US is to blockade the Strait of Hormuz and directly or indirectly all Iranian ports. President Trump has said: “No one who pays an illegal toll [to Iran] will have safe passage on the high seas,” adding that the blockade – which will involve so far unspecified other countries – will “begin shortly”. The two questions about this are: 1) How will the US know who has or has not paid Iran a toll? 2) How will this blockade work if Chinese, Russian or Indian ships, for example, are involved, or if it results in disruption to Chinese or Indian energy supplies? Every decision made appears to have failed to consider broader implications beyond those directly impacting the Iranian regime.

@reporterboy @albieamankona @miriam_cates She's a clown and didn't say "the truth" - she has never had a real job nor has she started a business. She would have told you not to buy Tesla stock in 2010 (a five grand investment would now be around 1.5 million). Never listen to people like that 😂

It’s now apparently “left wing” to question the sustainability of the single largest line item on the welfare bill. That’s how unserious this debate has become. I don’t particularly care whether the Conservatives win elections. I care whether any party in government is willing to make difficult, rational decisions in Britain’s long-term interest, especially on spending, incentives, and economic reality. There was a point where I thought Reform might offer that clarity. Instead, they seem to be drifting into a tribute act, a carbon copy of the last Conservative government. The same people, the same instincts, the same refusal to confront trade-offs, and predictably the same outcomes. If you recycle the architects of failure, don’t be surprised when you rebuild the same house.

@albieamankona Very subjective. "Difficult decisions... Best interest of the country etc etc" Everyone has different opinions on what the best interest of the country is. As such your post is meaningless. You might as well have posted a photo and not typed anything

Restore Britain opposed Britain’s potential active involvement in the Iran war on day one. Why? One clear reason. I did not think it would benefit the British people. If Farage or the Tories were in charge, we’d have been bombing Tehran from the very start. That would have been utterly disastrous. Now the cost of living is soaring as a direct result of the war, with British families suffering because of it. The Telegraph reports that ministers are preparing for mass protests across Britain over the cost of living crisis caused by the bombings. It is going to get ugly, just like in Ireland. The RAC have said that a full tank of petrol is now £13.86 more expensive than it was at the beginning of the war at £86.92. Diesel? Up £26.80 to £105.11. So painful. Staggering rises - these are costs that hardworking British men and women simply cannot afford. It’s not the direct financial impact, it will drive inflation right across the economy. Businesses are looking at these fuel costs and the only answer is to put up prices. Everything will become more expensive because of it. Everything. This is what drives the cancer of inflation that is crushing British men and women. We all know how it works. Even if oil prices fall, forecourt prices rarely soon follow. Food is getting more expensive. Energy prices are soaring. The cost of living crisis is getting worse. British families are suffering, and will continue to suffer. I detest the Iranian regime. I think they are awful monsters who deserve the very worst end. We must proscribe Iran’s IRGC, and deport any foreign national with links to this appalling mob. But I do not think that this is Britain’s war. As I said on day one. Sadly, the world is filled with evil and it is no longer our role to police that. When talking of intervening in foreign wars, Farage said this was ‘the right one’. He insisted ‘the gloves need to come off’. I entirely disagree with such reckless warmongering. Rushing to send other people’s sons and daughters to war is very easy to do from a comfortable Westminster office. It is the gravest and most significant decision any politician can ever make. My view is that we should only intervene militarily overseas when British interests are served. Then, and only then. Realpolitik. But sadly, we are where we are. The Labour Government now needs to act to insulate the British people from the impact of this war. Restore Britain is calling for an urgent and significant cut in fuel duty, and then deploying every tool available to the British state to boost domestic energy production. The war in Iran is making life far more expensive for British families. It’s unsustainable and unfair - the Government must act.

It’s EVs. Their weight is the problem Saqiq Khan. They add to wear on the roads and tyres, adding not only to road maintenance costs - and damage to vehicles - but also to microplastics in the environment. @MayorofLondon @Ed_Miliband
Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan@MayorofLondon

Experts are saying it: SUVs damage our roads more than ordinary passenger cars. I’ve asked @TfL to look into the effect of supersized SUVs in London as more of these vehicles take up space on London’s roads. theguardian.com/uk-news/2026/a…

Wayne Broadhurst was murdered by a “asylum seeker” whilst walking his dog. An “asylum seeker” stabbed Rhiannon Whyte 23 times with a screwdriver. An “asylum seeker” was found guilty of raping a 12-year-old girl in Nuneaton. Our safety is more important than virtue signaling.

Tomorrow I’m running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Refugee Action. At a time when refugees are so often dehumanised, lied about, and turned into political targets, Refugee Action does vital work supporting people who deserve safety, dignity, and a fair chance to rebuild their lives. So, tomorrow, I run. If you’d like to support me and support Refugee Action’s work, I’d be hugely grateful. ❤️ Link below!

Starlink has done more than any NGO to lift people out of poverty by connecting them with a means of education and a market for their good & services via the Internet
X Freeze@XFreeze

Most people have not even realized it yet, but Starlink just quietly became the invisible backbone of Earth For decades, high-speed internet was a luxury of geography. If you lived outside a major city or dared to travel, you had no choice but to be disconnected from the world We literally went from "can you hear me now?" dropped calls in the suburbs to you move anywhere in the world and you are covered by Starlink internet Just look at what SpaceX has achieved so far: → Free, high-speed WiFi rolling out on thousands of flights, trains, and ships → Now officially live in over 150+ countries, territories, and global markets → Direct-to-Cell tech is turning standard smartphones into sat-phones with zero extra hardware → Flawless high-speed internet streaming in the middle of Antarctica → Serving as a critical lifeline for first responders and victims during major natural disasters → Providing unbreakable comms in active warzones and geopolitical conflicts → More than 11 MILLION+ active subscribers globally as of early 2026 → Eliminating dead zones entirely - if you can see the sky, you can connect "I think the single biggest thing you can do to lift people out of poverty and help them is giving them an internet connection because once you have the internet connection, you can learn anything for free on the internet, and you can also sell your goods and services to the global market" — Elon Musk While legacy telecom providers are still struggling to lay cables in the dirt, SpaceX is actively building humanity’s collective nervous system in Low Earth Orbit SpaceX is showing the world what it actually means to be connected on a magnitude we never thought possible

@Danjsalt "It will I would expect give up some of their nuclear programme for a peace treaty with the US" You might be correct, but the problem is the US is fundamentally dishonest & basically agreement incapable, & its foreign policy is run by & for Israel.

The US started this war with three strategic aims (we think as it was such a shit show) 1. Regime change 2. End Iran's missile programme 3. The Iran's nuclear programme Logically Iran's main strategic aims are 1. Regime survival 2. Keeping their missile programme which allows them to control Hormuz 3. An end to sanctions Iran will be happy enough to give up Hormuz for sanctions being ended It will I would expect give up some of their nuclear programme for a peace treaty with the US Time will tell who gets what
John Ridge@WeaponScientist

I once again can’t emphasize enough that any agreement is likely to leave the U.S. in a significantly worse position than if we had continued the war.

@Danjsalt The Iranians were already prepared to give up their enrichment and the enriched uranium they had already processed as confirmed by the Omani Foreign Minister, the interlocutor at the negotiations with the US. The next day, they were attacked. This war, Dan, is not about that.

@Danjsalt Read Trump's book. He says time and again that the way to negotiate is with outrageous demands, conflicting messaging and general incoherence so that the other side has no idea of your actual goals. Despite this, media still froths about his objectives 😂
