@RaypEatNanaya While the difficulty is overblown, the skill floor is hogher in fighting games than other genres, plus getting better is a lot less passive, you have to practice more than most competitive games to develop analogous levels of skill

I'm struggling to understand exactly why fighting game people say fighting games are easy. Everyone and their mother says the reason they don't play them is that they're too hard at a beginner level. If that isn't true, the only other reason would be that fighting games suck lol.

@SummonerFlash I kinda get why a significant subsection of the playerbase doesn't care about RPGs generally when it feels like Toby doesn't really want to flesh out the RPG elements in his game but will gladly keep introducing new gameplay gimmicks outside it.

this is the kind of shit that pisses me off about Deltarune. I wish the game had more consistency and stuck to it's cool concepts more. Boss fights triggering unique co-op spells with your party members? Awesome. IT'S DROPPED AFTER CH2?!?

I'mma play devil's advocate here. First off, definitely not a fan of how weird the camera angles are here or in this anime in general. It's strange and mind boggling with a lot of weird focus, like the shot of his hand or from his feet looking up. That said I can respect the attempts at trying something new with the camera. It's bold to try angles like these and see how they work. I can't lie and say that I like them. I can't lie and say I think they're good, because I don't think that's helpful. But I CAN say that the attempts to try something new—even failing—are something worth respecting imo.

it actually has really well written rep for poly relationships but y'all are too close minded to actually pay attention because you only watch something because it has a new season not because you're actually interested in it at all.

@singtoconley Diffrence being that at no point in undertale till the end there was no mystery of flowey being someone else let alone asriel and he was never hyped up as some super big mystery

seen people say that Dess has only been mentioned in a couple mandatory scenes and the rest are optional flavor text/dialogue, so her being the knight won't hold weight i'd like to remind everyone that in Undertale, Asriel is not mentioned by name at all until you reach New Home
