In August we're celebrating the completion of 297 Bronze Awards in the Central England region, 228 Silver Awards and 70 Gold Awards. Congratulations to all the young people who have achieved their DofE Award! 🎉

We are pleased to support a local homeless charity @streetsafederby with the donation of 16 sleeping bags, roll mats + a selection of outdoor clothes - all equipment no longer suitable for our DofE kit store. @DofE @DofECentral

A team of volunteers from the @DofECentral office came to help us at Borrowcop Locks Canal Park. They cleared around locks 26 and 27, clearing the paths, around any brickwork and young trees. (Where brambles bore fruit, these were left.)...

Stove safety is vital for everyone on an expedition, and it’s particularly important if there is drier weather to avoid spreading fires. buff.ly/45c9UUH
